Any technological civilization in the universe would merge with machines if they wanted to survive as a civilization and spread out into space. The conversation of cybernetics should include it's roll in kardeshev civilizations

The better question would be how to build society for humans not for machines? Or do we have enough knowledge that humans are complete machines? Machine in the machine?

Yes, we have enough knowledge to understand that humans are complete machines.
For the « machine in the machine » , we don’t know yet

A bit lacking. The talk completely glossed over the strand of cybernetics forwarded by Mead and Bateson that makes up the primary school of cybernetics still studied as such in the US.

Taming nature by cybernetic control systems stifles creative inspiration.
How to retain soulful expression under complete governance? What is the point of existence if every endeavour is perpetually in a state of perfection?
The question is what is the meaning?

      @@savoirfaire6181 thank you
“ nothing is perfect “ with this in mind we should learn from our mistakes. If the universe was perfect it could possibly not exist.

If you don't want perfection I shall achieve near perfection in this life and complete and ultimate perfection in the next with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Father and the Holy Spirit! Amen HalleluYah!

Nature is a cybernetic control system. We are cybernetic organisms. Cybernetic governance is simply governance that attempts to regulate society in accordance to feedback from society itself.

11:26 Why did this Norbert fella think that cybernetics wouldn't ultimately lead to more human freedom from toil and hardship?

Because militaries across the world have been very interested in cybernetics for a very long time. Never trust any form of government or business regardless of its designation always try to verify the information one receives.

It's quite simple. A life RULED by the machine is not worth the mere CONVENIENCE it provides.
People do deserve meaningful innovations. They don't deserve to never need to work or want for anything. That kind of life only looks good if you never think about what it would really be, never really examining it as a whole in an objective way

    • @user-jq8fw6yb6s

@@wyattbottorff2473 you’re yourself a biological machine. So are you saying your life ruled by yourself is not worth the convenience it provides ? Maybe you need to be optimised or decommissioned ?

Cybernetics is, in modern era، facing challenges. Top most is ethics relating to body systems changes and ultimately thinking system changes as a result of living style systems modifications
Every human in this world wants to become excellent in finance, health, beauty, intelligence as very rare people remain attached with ethics. But ethics is not universalally defined and practiced same all across the world. Yes I know ethics deals with social system and other things mentioned above deal with material things. Now human definitely needs ethics otherwise we will loose beauty of life. Scientists are working hard as compared to religious scholars so next question. Is it ethical to stop the scientists to work and start listening these religious scholars. Remember the religious scholars are not lazy but very sharp and hard working as well but like a good player and having taste of ruling the world they are more experienced and can't escape from their state of mind. So social system and materials based thinking style system. Next question if everything is fine according to the system on its own but we human beings misuse it. Then still again we can't violate basic human right of a scientist to stop working and loose their passion and become lazy like religious scholars. As more than 99 % , this world is matter according to the basic function of the human eye. It includes everything from human body to coffin of the dead body. So everything seems material then why God sends prophets to guide humanity ? Because Prophets provide them guidance to remain good and bring peace and harmony in society. Did it ever happen in human history? Next question is, how to verify history authenticity as reported on books. Can't we share religious scholars and scientists to work together and sort out better solutions. Remember public don't want to know such deep arguments as they just want to solve their problems usually finance. Ethics in reality has never been practiced in history as it is taught but on the other hand, science output is better than others in this area as well. Now science supports individual choice and science knows that people have been trained to think in established social systems and religion is included. Scientists also know manipulation in human body, brain and society to make and control opinions. So what is human idea about God's mindset. Is God more than 99% scientists and rest is spirituality. Can we say most probably that God is more towards science than spiritual.
Cybernetics technology based Ideas, we should introduce step by step. Otherwise we might commit blunders. Because everyone is unique and versatile especially in current time. We might find strange unexpected results especially as religion also have their support of all kinds. Yes same question, we can raise on religion and their communication methods for applying Ideas proven in history. Scientists should be more balanced and set new trends for the future humanity. One big question is that Human needs God and behaviour management system which can work in all numerous sorts of situations. Regards.

The biggest problem I can see is the hubris of man. We are no longer content and captivated with the socially shortened idea of “I think therefore I am” Our collective ego have now brought us to the point of “I create. I destroy. Reality is mine to wield.”

Humanity will ultimately reject God only a few were chosen by God although God wants all saved! The answers are all in the 66 books of the Holy Bible. The bible and science will truly only work for the few as the rest are lost forever in gloomy darkness and flames with demons
