This guy has found the place where all the lost Lego pieces go and is using it as a high-efficiency farm. Seriously, if I had anywhere near that many pieces, I would have probably upgraded the world's power grid by now.
This is without a doubt my favorite of your videos so far. It's well built, and it seems very well researched. I especially appreciated the little facts about the energy and speed used by the machine! I look forward to your future content!
Really neat concept and well executed! I believe that reducing the car weight by a lot would make this even better. I don't think the car needs to be this large and even include mini figs 😊
Thanks for the comment! Yes - the custom tracks enable many different elements to be built. I think I'm primarily constrained by the current number of 5x3 liftarms I have and the space at home when constructing!
This is very cool! I like the realism and similarities to a real roller coaster, for example the side friction and up-stop wheels to keep the car on the track. I once made something similar but with a hand operated winch to lift the car to the top of the slope and then release it. I also had up-stop and side friction wheels on the car but they were fixed and not able to rotate as with your one, so this gave me some inspiration to try something like that in the future 😀
I'm a huge Lego AFOL and I'm not going to lie. I was waiting for a massive fail and Batman did indeed fly. LMFAO, Time for you to build a mini fig launcher.... I made a GBC ball launcher with two PF motors and showed it to a mate and he advised me that the ball speed was to fast and that I had to slow it down. Yeah right lol. Brilliant video. A build well done.
Hello, I think it's really cool that you put so much time, money and probably money into your videos, especially on a not that big channel, but I think you would get even faster speeds on your coaster if you placing your puck in front of it would connect to your coaster because then the chain would have a higher swing, but all in all an incredibly exciting and educational project. I hope you come up with more ideas like this
This is amazing, I fear the worst on what the build cost would have been if all parts were purchased specifically but... Worth every god damn penny. Amazing work / video
Thanks for the comments! Glad you enjoyed it! Apart from the hundreds of L shaped beams most of the rest came from existing sets! Especially the bucket wheel excavator - a super useful Lego technics set for anyone interested in doing their own builds!
woh cool! I build knex roller coasters and coming from the other side of the toy roller coaster comunity I can say this is a very uniqe build. great work!
I’m at 1:07 of the video and I know it’ll look great at the end! But theres one thing, I thought it was you building it not doing a tutorial on how to do it!
This is really cool! And not too far off a real launch coaster system. I think the closest real version is B&M's tire drive launch used on The Hulk at Universal Orlando Islands of Adventure.
Hi thanks for the comment - I did a bunch of tests with a tire launch for this video but couldn’t generate enough force! It looked interesting though. I’ve got an idea for a different launch system for the a separate video at a point down the line however!
Interesting track and car design! Can you do curves, banks, etc with this setup? I am also curious about the potential for a hydraulic launch system. I think there would be a much more sudden and efficient acceleration with a hydraulic launch. You should also try trimming weight off of the car to improve the performance.
Hi thanks for the comments! I’ll be revising the rollercoaster at some stage and will be looking at curves and banked turns! I’m yet to establish a final track design so watch this space!
Very excited for a part two, it’s super cool cuz I love Lego and i’m a roller coaster enthusiast! Do you know how quickly the train accelerates? You’re definitely gettting a sub from me!
Nice work! Awesome realism with the upstop wheels and the conveyor belt launch is really cool! Is this Intamin-inspired? The train design looks like it could be based off of Intamin Reverse Freefall Trains imo
Great video, am very curious how this would have compared to half as many motors but having a really big flywheel. Could spin it up very fast over a period of time. Have the launch puch pre-enganged with the cart, then use a clutch to engage. Curiuos if the punch of the flywheel will give more energy then all those motors revving up from stall.
I want to go on something more thrilling than LEGO Launch Coaster 1.
Just looking at Lego Launch Coaster 1 makes me feel sick!
Lego Launch Coaster 1 looks too intense for me.
Lego Launch Coaster 1 is really good value!
fellow planet coaster players!!
Lego launch coaster 1 doesn't have much scenery
Great work! Do you mind if we post some of your videos on our Facebook page with credit to you?
Hi, Not at all! Please could you put a TH-cam link to the videos you do post? Thanks for showing interest!

Should use a flywheel to pre-stage the torque, then use a clutch to dump it onto the launch, will be a lot more efficent.
This is without a doubt my favorite of your videos so far. It's well built, and it seems very well researched. I especially appreciated the little facts about the energy and speed used by the machine! I look forward to your future content!
Thanks! I enjoyed this build!!
AhjauyaiU😅u
Agreed! Love the physics!
This is cool! I'd love to see a more traditional launch system that can handle a stronger launch force for a steeper spike
Tip instead of instantly launching the cart you could spin up the launch mechanism and then Lower the cart onto it to have it go as fast as possible
Thank you for including the math 👍 It gets my kids interested in math!
Thanks for the comment! No problem, real-world application of math is interesting!
bro I love boomerang roller coasters cause you get to feal force on the front of your body
Disney incredicoaster coming soon? This is dope
Really neat concept and well executed! I believe that reducing the car weight by a lot would make this even better. I don't think the car needs to be this large and even include mini figs 😊
How do you make those big kind roller coaster
With a lot of thought and a lot of Lego Technics!
WOW that is probably the best lego vid and build i have ever seen
Big construction but nice progress keep looking forward to build more Lego
I have no idea where even to start designing something with technic, your amazing.
Ah thanks! Really appreciate the support! More videos to follow!
I like how you made your own rollercoaster tracks that mean you can modify them and bank them and do more than the standard tracks
Thanks for the comment! Yes - the custom tracks enable many different elements to be built. I think I'm primarily constrained by the current number of 5x3 liftarms I have and the space at home when constructing!
A rollercoaster with same motors but smaller ride (so less heavy) and a looping (going forward then reverse) would be cool.
Incredible.

That’s what the channel is all about! Sharing my passion for the brick and encouraging people to experiment and enjoy Lego themselves!
This is awesome man!
God, I wish I had the money to afford all these LEGO components and basically invent on a playground all day long!
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Honestly, imma try to build rock n roller coaster with that launch.

Hi thanks for the kind comments! Check out part 2 in the playlist to see Batman do the loop the loop!
looks like you have room to put in just a little more force in the launcher
Love it!
Next iteration: electromagnetic launch?!??!
Nicely done, Great
Epic! I think this might be more suited for miniland scale.
Yes to achieve a proper ride vehicle the size was necessary!
Amazing job on building this roller coaster!😃I love it!😃
Ah thanks for the support! I appreciate it!
That's interesting, elaborate & dope i like this is kind of fast.
Thanks for the comment! Glad you like it!
Man I’d pay a $1,000,000 to see this launch system to launch the CDX cyclone roller coaster kit! This is awesome!!!

I’m now at 6:03 of the video and you haven’t made a turning yet!
I’ve reserved the turns for part 2 or 3 hopefully! It’s quite a challenge!!
I would love to see a turn with this track design
Hi thanks for the comment, it’s something on the list to consider for the launch coaster 2.0!
This is so cool, I just love the way the track curves! Cheers to your channel's future
Ah thank you! Means a lot!
this is sick👍
Thanks for the comment!! Appreciate it

Your LEGO box is clearly better-stocked than mine ever was! lol
Underrated great job 👍👍👍
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Six flages be like: "Write this down! Write this down!"
Check out the Superman ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain in California. Very similar to this Lego build.
Cant wait for part 2
Thanks! I’ve got a few other projects I’m working on first and will re-visit the coaster a bit down the line!
No loop-the-loops or corkscrews? Not sure I’d wait in line for this.
Do oblivion next please 🙏
Nice 👌
You’ve got some good Lego rides as well - welldone!
@@BuilditwithBricks thanks for checking them out 👍
So cool! Why don’t you build the whole track? That would be interesting to watch
Nice video
Love this video! Exactly the type of lego content I’m searching for. I also love roller coasters
Someone needs to post a model of Steel Vengeance or something on rebrickable. I would love to build that
Super cool je m’abonne !
This is actually a shuttle coaster if you look it up it has this same mechanism
Great work!
now just gotta add a breaking system so the riders don’t all get whiplash on the return to the station
How many cost ? Very great about engenering....but il looks very expensive.....good job very great !!!

Maybe you could control all motors with PF Remotes so they all start at exactly the same time. in theroy this shouldnt be to difficult.

Those are a lot of L pieces
But this is cool
Very well made, i feel like some lubrication would help if thats not cheating so much friction loss is happening.
I would have just pushed it with my hand
