- Full transparency: I feel weak right now. I haven't been as disciplined as I want or need to be. I want to be stronger. I want to be fitter. The only way that's going to happen is if I do the extra work. There's no other way around it. My running goals are trivial to life's problems, to elite times, to virtually everything else, but this stuff means a lot to me for many reasons, and I know that's the same for so many of you all too. 70 in Chicago this week felt like 90. I was out the door before 6 this week and the humidity made it all so much more difficult. It didn’t matter when you went it felt like suffocation.

I don’t know much about your training but idk if it’s too good trying to improve the top end speed and mileage at the same time. I heard it can have some bad side effects that lead to big exhaustion
As a personal trainer/coach: you should never feel GUILTY about your food choices. But they should be intentional choices where you accept the consequences of your choices.

Good video mate. You’re beginning to look really narrow at the shoulders and a little frail looking. Maybe a summer of hypertrophy would be more needed.
Oh - I've been a twig for a while. This video especially makes it look dramatic with how pale I am, but I'm planning on doing way more upper body in the gym this summer.
