They did that intentionally, just like how Super Craig and Wonder Tweek are references to Superman and Wonder Woman, although Tweek's powers are based off of Storm's.
Craig especially adorable with how he handles there fight in this game. He legit posts stuff on his social media to get tweeks attention and stalks him at the coffee shop
