Tv listings as they SHOULD be...notice the lack of split-screen annoying ads like today's. Wish cable companies could bring this back.

Altice USA Csble systems even in 2024 have channels like this (dating back to their days as Cablevision) ever since at least the early 80s. It’s surprising that they still do it even today with on screen guides, the Internet and such that makes channels like this look redundant.

@60sThru80s That was something I was wondering about myself, in the 80's and 90's here in Massachusetts there used to be lots of independant cable companies, there was here Nashoba Cable, Lowell Cable, and Continental Cablevision, then I'm guessing Comcast, Time Warner Cable Charter Communications Cox Communications and Cablevision, the 5 monarchs bought them all out now.

on channel 42 on 0:22, didn't The Toxic Avenger is regularly on Epix or Epix Drive-In now because they mostly air Troma movies??? because i watched this movie 2 months ago on Epix Drive-In too and was a really good movie. btw, The Weather Channel is like that too in late 80's to educate meteorology people like me today.

Do you have any videos of that CTV-i channel? I'm not from Staten Island but my area had something like it too and I want to see what it looked like for nostalgia.

No need for this with the on screen guide on the digital box
