real nice job on the stick frame structure.. i just prefer to use wood glue or elmers to glue together as opposed to hot glue. yeah its faster but it don't take paint well, gets everywhere and can be a disaster.. but nice and straight.. way i do it. in the end, it's a lot more work but it looks so much better. more realistic cause it basically is, just in 64 scale.
Thanks! I agree with you about the glue. I used Titebond 3 carpenters glue on the fence pickets. I started to use in on the building framing but the drying time was a factor. I am currently trying out some different glues to see what I like the best.
Thank you! The pallet wood that I used for this project was already broken down. I have a shipping yard close by and they place broken down pallets in large boxes by the road. I do prep pallets from time to time. Next time I prep a pallet, I will post a video on it.
@@dustinrossi9384 yes, I just ripped down pallet wood on my 10" table saw. I had a fine tooth blade on it so it would cut smooth. After I ripped all my pieces, I cut everything to length with a hand mini hacksaw.
@@foscoe2496 I don't have access to the measurements at the moment. When building it, I didn't really use a ruler. I used a Hot Wheels pick up truck to help gauge the scale. I will try and get you some measurements.

The fact that you made the cars carry in the materials makes it that much more cooler haha...awesome build 👍🔥
I'm just getting into diorama building myself and now I'm full of ideas and a basic know-how. Keep it up dude, the views will come
It's definitely a fun hobby to get into. Good luck with your builds and thanks for watching!

Yes, they are pretty close to scale.

Microlocity How do you make them 2x4
@@foscoe2496 made them by cutting them on my table saw. You could probably buy similar size pieces at a hardware store or maybe a hobby/craft shop.
