That’s a jaw dropping amount of Johnny Lightnings. And a fifteen hour shift of moving diecast is hours ahead of whatever method I happen to be using that day. Love the planning that goes into the display and we don’t notice the spots that are missed by missing cars in a series. Well most of us don’t notice.
Awesome collection man, with that amount of die cast car collection you'll never get bored, just focusing on one model would feel like seeing something new every time.
I need to set up a Diorama w/stores, houses, and at the edge of town my Junk yard. Really, there is no room at this point. I really miss my finished basement back in Utah. Now, in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The junkyard is a great place for me to display cars and trucks and unfortunately it had become so full that no more cars could be added. This is a chance for an improvement and more fun things to happen here. Please don't be sad, it will always ultimately be a junk yard and only get better with time as more junky vehicles get parked here, and improvements are made to the scenery and layout. Thanks for your input my friend!
O Dawg you make the weekend a fun one ...fle market diecast hunting sat N sometimes sunday too ..an a diecast vid to top off a good weekend of scores . I get it you have to change it up keep it fresh ..put the best stuff up front out there kinda thing . Hit the market today an came home with all i love to find ..i really only bost about to you in comments. My thing if your gonna hunt is have that one thing you allways want to find ..with me cause i missed an wasent a collector,i missed the entire Ferrari hot wheels era ...i love finding em ..im just starting a third case .1st was a now full 48 car jammer ..2nd i filled a 24 car blue carry case ..an being as i was extremely lucky yesterday buying a bin of cars that had 9 Ferraris in it ..one a plastic race car not HW but cool as F. Nevermind the awesome black blazin white hub VW real rider what a little jem . Always love the vids ..whatever the road is you take in the museum im there for the ride . Still have a ROAK we have to talk . I have to much ..😁
I have too much too, but I can't ever say no to more interesting cars, old and new! Thanks for the update and happy to hear you are finding Ferrari's! Beauty castings with some really desirable htf models out there from Hot Wheels. Send me a Private Message for RAOK.... very generous of you!
@@wtffor Hot Wheels Ferraris made since the 2000's have picked up in value a great deal because Mattel lost the Ferrari license in December 2014 and now they can no longer make any Ferraris. Ferrari took up a deal with Maisto (hork) and has been with them ever since.
That's the plan! There are more and more Patina and rusted cars being made by the premium diecast auto makers, and I would like to put customs in as well. Shiny cars really don't belong in a junk yard after all :)
If you hadn't been able to sort them by color, it would look as intended and you wouldn't have been able to. Great collection, there are a few German models missing like from the Siku collection or from the French manufacturer Majorette like Norev, which are also available in the same scale.🙂
Id die laughing if the Gucci Cadillac was sitting in the Junk yard. I always see soo many cars I own in your collection I noticed Hello kitty on the wall in your premium wall
I like your new setup great idea with the premium hotwheels yeah I agreed display your best models I display my best model cars I wish I had the room and space like you I always change up my setup and move cars here and there Hope u do something new and exciting with Sam salvage yard I love this vid like always
My man..great video. I am not sure what car you showed, but Chevrolet didn't make the Cordoba. That is a Chrysler. Unless I heard wrong. Maybe it's the Malibu Laguna or Chevelle Thanks for the share
Love your collection wish i was born earlier and knew about this to actually collect such amazing looking vehicles. Most Vehicles i have i wish were much newer and better looking but my area does not sell these types of cars
Knew it wouldn't be long before the EPA showed up and made you clean up.they will try and shut you down.hopefully no ground water has been contaminated.hefty fines.
Nice improvements 👍😁 a lot of work! Maybe an idea to move the lego upstairs. You still have too many cars which are placed in plastic containers, it's too bad for not showing them in the museum. Where the lego table is now, is actually a huge space you can use for showing all those beautiful cars. Good luck with all that work. What are you going to do with the junkjard? Greets from Holland
Thanks for the ideas! If I had more room upstairs I would move the Lego, but I am trying to keep my living space free of toys so as not to end up with a place resembling the 40-year-old virg** LOL
It's been a while for me not seeing your vids but man it would make me dizzy walking around your wonderful collection. I wonder what you have hidden away in the dark recesses of your rooms, do you even know? cheers wtffor
More and more cars, boxes and boxes filled with them. I have labeled all of them for easier discovery, however they are buried several boxes deep in areas. Oh and there area a few spiders hanging out beyond that too... LOL
Your collection is so impressive! I know I have asked you before. And think at one time you said you had about 70k or so. What would you say your collection is up to now?
They have been sorted chronologically and put into Plano case storage for the time being, until the museum grows to accommodate them all, along with the thousands more Hot Wheels 2004 to present that are also in long-term Plano case and tote storage in the Over-Flow Room.
I wouldn’t say it’s that high by looking back at his collection over the years i’m 100% he has a shot at breaking the record for most Hot Wheels if he applied for it. My estimate is between 6k-15k cars.
@@Viscalis he should contact Guinness world record. Seriously I think he may have the world record for not only the most, but well taken care of collection out there
They have been sorted and stored in other Plano Cases not on the wall. There are literally stacks of them in my Over-Flow Room, along with all the other cars that have yet to see the display wall (Hot Wheels 2004 to present)
Which tackle boxes are you using for your loose cars? Ones ive seen see to have weird plastic ribs on them or really cloudy plastic where you cant see them
Where do u get your single sided plano boxes I saw on the floor!! Also it looked like they were solid inside instead of removable dividers can u clarify this also?? Thanx very much ahead of time!! Great video new sub here!!!
Yes those are the Plano 5324 24 compartment cases with fixed dividers. I pop the lids off them sometimes because they clip on and off easily. Thanks for subscribing and for your question!
Acrylic cases become brittle with age as the plastic decays (10 years or more) and they are not viable as a portable storage solution. One impact strike and they're done. Shattered. Those cases are also massively overpriced at $150 per case and their extremely shiny appearance detracts from the cars. Waste of money.
d da da dah daah daahhhh? WHAT THE HECK?! WOWZERS! Now that is a collection.
i know!
Awesome !! Weird seeing the junkyard naked though 😀
awesome video, thank you for the uploads
1 million nice diecast!
I can never get bored watching your vedios and the museum 😎👍
I've bought quite a few Plano boxes thanks to your reviews.

Those Patina, Garage Find, Works in Progress cars are so awesome perfect for the junk yard
Awesome collection bro
Awesome collection you have congrats.👍
I think displaying the premiums is a good move

I felt like I had a large collection of die-cast until I see this video. 😂

Mind blowing collection Sam, your diecast musium in unbelievable 😮❤
You should find a way, to build a train set around your salvage yard. :)
It would give lore to the junkyard as well. Like it lives on a side spur from the main line and gets visited by a scrap train dropping off deliveries.
Great vid. Thanks
Making new changes, excellent choice
Awesome collection! Hi Nina!
Man I remember watching a long time ago.
Wow. Nice. Like all those truck campers...
You have an amazing collection of little cars. I love it.

Looks like as with most of us space is at a premium ! Good use of every square inch .
What?! Sam’s been evicted?! Condos? Don’t tell me condos!
Great collection!
You got a great collection no matter what you do it will look great I can't wait until I get my bigger room to do more with my collection

I think you should keep only the patina/rusted cars in the junkyard. That would be cooler that way! Displaying the premium is also a good move.

👍🏼
