5:47 That’s me - walking around in a circle, figuring out what to do. It’s good to see I share one thing (the only thing) with the great artist Ishitani!

"Should I put it there now, or wait until I get the other pieces ready, but the heater is there and the glue will start to go off, but if I put the piece somewhere else the glue will cool down and get thick, but I need to get the other pieces glued up quickly, so I need to keep everything close together, and when I stack one on top of the other only the top one will really be warming up, but if I......okay, I will just put it there and keep moving, how many of these do I have to do again?...."

I’m fascinated at the woodworking machines that the Japanese have. They’re all so heavy duty. They remind of old school American machines from the 60s and before.

Perhaps his machines are too old, but I get scared seeing someone ripping massive wood without using a riving knife. Furthermore the technique used to cut the dado's at 9:00 also gives me goose bumps. Pretty sure there are safer ways to do this. Apart from that I do enjoy your videos as they show the details which possibly set you apart as a woodworker.
