Do you know if having the full bedliner changes things drastically? Does it take away alot more space? Even if it does, my little Honda Trx 250 should fit no problem considering its maybe 3/5 the size of your Polaris and probably only 1/3 of the weight. Im sold on the Maverick and hoping to trade in my 2020 Equinox for one for next year. My brother and I wanna do some atv trips and he already has a F150 and now I need a pickup so we can go on some adventures. I wanted to upgrade my vehicle anyway so may as well go for the Maverick.
For transporting something like that I'd cut to fit a 4'x8' sheet of 3/4" plywood to drop in there to fully protect your front bed wall and back window.
Not saying its a teribble vehicle. Its actually a cool concept that would be more than enough for most people who want a truck for the occasional thing. But it isnt a truck and for some reason TH-camrs calling it one is bothering me. Its a car with a truck bed. No different than an el camino.
@@DailyMotor "a wheeled vehicle for moving heavy articles" "a small heavy rectangular frame supported on four wheels for moving heavy objects'" Doesnt seem to fit either of those to me. Even in the website you linked me, it doesnt even remotely fit the two most important aspects of a truck. It isnt a body on frame vehicle and it isnt for hauling heavy loads. Its a unibody car with a bed you can throw some light stuff in and maybe you can tow a jet ski or something. But again, its. not a truck
@@BnMProductions11 It has a max payload of 1500 lbs! That's only a few hundred pounds off your average body-on-frame Ranger. I get that it's not a traditional pickup truck formula, but for many people, it can fill the role.
@@DailyMotor As I said, I don't disagree. I actually think it's a good option because I don't think we need this many massive pickups on the road. A small, fuel efficient vehicle that can move things every once in a while is exactly what most people need. For me, I need an actual truck because I have a heavy quad and I pull a heavy trailer and haul alot. And that payload is actually surprising. I wouldn't trust it having nearly the same payload as an F150 so I feel real world numbers would be less impressive. And it's towing is anemic
OK, now I just need to wait for whenever Ford makes my preordered Maverick (if it ever would).
No Maverick for you! - Ford
Did you get it?
Yes, I got 2
not sure id do this, but props lol
a grizzly 700 fits too

Nicely done but that quad is closer to 900lbs full of fluids.
How do you secure a bike or ATV with the door down?
Straps, which you should always be using anyway
So just curious, you said it fits in your f250 with 6.5 feet bed right? Tail gate up or down?
Tailgate up, just barely.
@@DailyMotor Awesome thanks

You should measure the sag. More than 2 inches is not ideal for neutral handling characteristics.

Sure seems to fit the dictionary definition of a truck www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/truck
