Hi Zane, As usual you've uploaded a great video. Very informative and easy to understand. Here is an idea for a video: I just started using Tracktion Waveform and like a child in a candy store, I downloaded lots of free vst plugins and have lost track of what each does. Do you have a preferred way to organise a vst library? For example, drum kits and synths in separate folders? Keep up the great work.
Thanks for bringing these products to our notice. Interesting, and informative. Just one thing - I get tired of being told "this Summer" when it's mid-Winter!
10:32 About LABS, now LABS+, beware if you update: As said you can't work offline with the new plugin but you can delete the new one and reinstall the old one v1.5.1 in your plugin folder (if you've kept a copy obvisoulsy). You still have the new green app but you'll be able to work offlline in your DAW with the old B&W plugin. The downside is you will not be abble to use the new free sounds (2, at the time I write this) . Personnaly I hate online-only plugins, like subscribtions it's a big No for me.
Yes and no. If the ai generated song is completely original and not a take on another song or a deep fake or something like that where it’s intentionally trying to sound like another artist/song then you might be ok. I say “might be” because ai is trained from other music so it could be possible that a completely ai generated track sounds like something else. Also maybe it will sound like an ai generated track that someone else has released. But if your track is its own thing then it likely will get accepted into the streaming services. It’s not that DistroKid allows it, it’s that the streaming services accept it. They could reject it and that not DistroKid’s decision. You can try and see what happens or use AI to help enhance creativity instead of replacing creativity that way you would have full control over your music and will actually be able to inject some emotion to the tracks.
@@AudioTechTV thank you very much for the clear explanation, it helped me and maybe it will help your viewers who want to know it too. I hope you are given good health, later when my ai song is ready I will register DistroKid from the link you gave, Thank you again
Do you only cater to Windows and Mac because some of these plugins work on Linux but it's not mentioned so every plugin I see I have to go to the website to look to see if it's actually supported. Easy compressor for one I've got it on my Linux already before this but I love your videos. Moon echo I also have on my Linux that's why I'm asking the question about if you only promote Windows and Mac free plugins or do you promote the plugins for all the platforms that works on?

I believe there’s a list of Linux safe plugins floating around. Google it. I don’t remember the site.
Is Linux popular?
@@HOLLASOUNDS in pro audio, not nearly as much as Mac or windows
@@Thearcherfl I would not use Linux for that reason.
