Love this video. I’ve lived in the Inverness area pretty much all my life and it’s a beautiful part of the world.
Couldn't agree more!
do you get snow in winter?
@@Alternative420 not usually that much but ,I have been snowed in for 3 days just outside the town ,and the snow stayed with us 2 years ago from late November to late February ,because I live in a valley that the sun wasn't getting over the hills to melt it .
Beautiful work. Visited Inverness many a time over the years. A special place indeed.
Beautiful scenery. Thankyou for sharing. New sub here

FFS this got me emotional..I knew our city was fine but from a drone point of view it's spectacular and so beautiful just a shame about some of the Bampots that stay in it.. Looking forward to seeing some more spectacular shots..Aye, right enough I am 😁 keep up the good work bud 👍

Thank you so much, it's going to be amazing to roam free once again.
Good quality video mate
Thank you so much :)
👍👍👍
Great video but Inverness aerial shots are very limited. No harbour, railway , muirtown locks ,airport ,etc. Basically too much of the rural areas.
Thank you for your comment I really appreciate it, there are a lot of areas I would love to take footage of, but due to the regulations around drones it's not easy to get clearance for some of them areas, and I also need a 30m exclusion zone for take off and landing which can be, sometimes near impossible to find.
@@flyingscotsmanuas6027 Yes, it can be hard to stay safe and legal. Especially near the airport ! What about a drone flight starting under the kessock bridge and following the river all the way through to Loch Ness ? Keep up your good work. 🥰
Karen Gillan is from Inverness.
Gorgeous city, shame about half of the people are extremely rude with poor manners and in patient drivers.
Makes me so happy to live here. Well done. Only bit I didn't recognise is the heavily wooded little bridge at 0:57? Anyone help?
Its just out the Dores road on the way to Foyers :)
Not sure what’s going on there but some of those shots are terribly over saturated. Try and use the profile ‘none’, ISO 100 and set the white balance manually as something is very wrong there. Is it a DJI drone?
Thank you so much for letting me know this, every screen seems to display it a little bit different. I always have the settings in manual with ISO 100, it must be when editing that I have over saturated them. Yeah a Mavic 2 Pro.
@@flyingscotsmanuas6027 the histogram is useful for making sure the exposure is correct but colour profiles do form a big part.
@@gonc5005 Thank you :) I'll keep this in mind going forward, just starting to edit my next project so ill ensure the colour saturation and vibrance aren't increased too much to cause damage.
Lucky me❤️
This is beautiful, at 1.00 into the video there is a view of a river and small bridge that I cannot place. Can you tell me where?
Loch ness going into Foyers
Nice scenery shame about the "people".
What do you mean?
Tell me about them?
As an Invernesian, I studied this post with close interest. There was some 35 seconds - repeat, thirty-five SECONDS - of view over the city itself. Admittedly, a few glimpses of the Muirtown Basin, where the Caledonian Canal joins the firth - plus a few shots of buildings in a rural woodland location. Yet the overwhelming disappointment is not only mine, with this interminable sweep of stretched of water, forming the bulk of your four minutes, nineteen seconds of dullness. The thudding, pseudo-Caledonian drone of an accompanying soundtrack was - awful.
Thank you for your comment Nicholas, I'm looking forward to seeing your own video flyover of Inverness which I'm sure will be much more exciting, and exhilarating, along with having an incredible chart-topping soundtrack to company it.
