Decent performance, just lacked a cutting edge.
It wasn’t the massacre I thought it would be. It was a better performance than what we are used to. The general consensus is it’s not good enough, it’s a bloody nightmare from the players to the roof. No wonder the Ten Hag decision is being left till after the FA cup. Who in their right mind would take this bunch to Wembley. I do feel sorry for the odd players and the young ones who are playing their hearts out only to find team mates don’t give a sh&t
The whole game in general wasn't that awful as expected. They were compact. Just a switch off from Casemiro that gave Arsenal the opportunity and Johnny didn't put pressure on Havertz.
That "Old Trafford waterfall" though!!!,, oh my God. It made things worse. But on the flip side, it's a good thing cause now a new stadium 🏟 or a rebuild will be made faster.

Rooney was spot on. The point he was making is that some players have niggles and basically rule themselves out these days. Look back to the time Keano played he constantly had knee injections.
Disagree. Most of these guys have played through serious injuries in the past including Rashford & Bruno. Only difference now is Erik by his own addmsiion is being more cautious & saving players for the final which he hasn't done before. Hard to see who is faking it when they could've done this months ago when they were getting most the flack from fans. Context matters, Erik is prioirtising the final.
How do you know it's any different now? 65+ separate injuries so far. Nobody is fit. Nobody can run. Everyone is getting injured.
We've never seen anything like it. I'd say it's more down to training and the tactics we've been playing all season. Poorly managed season. Poor manager.
@@mundolioknows6447 I agree to an extent I.e. Rashford played with a broken back last year so there are cases which cannot be included but as a whole Rooney was Bob on, there's a lot of players these days who are a bit soft to put it kindly and don't play through a niggle.

Am I glad this season is OVER! Having the opportunity to watch this Bunch through out the season I guess I have only watched them for a total of 90 Mins. I do hope that INOAS can grab hold of this Club and Bunch and give them a real GOOD SHAKE UP!!!!!!!! If not then I foresee a bunch fighting Relegation next season. This Club has knocked all the enthusiasm out of me even to the extent that I am not looking forward to the FA Cup. I have never seen such a MESS!

The thought of SlothGATE becoming United’s coach is the stuff of nightmares. He is a paid up member of the Lucky Managers Club. Step forward Slippy G, Lamps, Poch, Brendan to name a few. ‘Sir’ Gareth is at best a championship level coach who happens to be like a cat that’s got the cream. He has at his disposal one of the best ever England squads and his in game management is awful. When Slosh fails at Pool, Danny Numpty, Sourness and Spit Boy need to be pushing for him to go to them. If he’s ‘good enough’ for United according to Danny Boy then he must be okay for them.

Southgate is NOT the answer we are looking for, way too long out of the day to day club management and besides that he isnt that good anyway, will be a disaster if Ratcliffe brings him in, some things are looking positive regarding the potential ground fix/rebuild and the new faces upstairs but imo Southgate would be a massive negative!

We cant have it both ways! Either United have to look after the players even with niggles, or they get blasted because the same player gets a full on injury caused by the previous niggle. Football has changed massively over the last decade, you can not really play at 100% carrying an injury due to the higher athleticism needed in the modern full press game. Years ago we did a half pitch press so your players could take a slight breather during that period of play.

I don’t like Antony and think he is crap, but he didn’t “go mad” when he was asked to play left back for Arsenal. He probably doesn’t want to be the reason we lose when he fucks up playing there. He had a minor moment of hesitation about playing there, but was always on his way to do it. Again, I don’t like the guy, but it wasn’t that deep.
