I would love to see videos on the subject of getting back to dancing at a professional level after an extended break! That’s what you’re going through now, so it will be easy for you to talk about, and it’s also something I’m dealing with (getting back into dancing professionally in musical theatre after about a year off because of injuries and mental health). I would be so grateful for any tips or advice you have! Some more specific video ideas in this vein: - how to get started (Very first steps so you don’t push yourself too hard or get unmotivated) - effective ways to regain technique, strength, and flexibility - mindset and motivation tips - classes for advanced dancers who may be a bit tight or weak due to a long break or injury I’m so happy to have you back and am so glad you seem to be very happy with where your life is headed. I hope to see you dance in person some day! ❤️
@@kathryn_morgan thank you for reading our comments and interacting with us! We appreciate it with how busy you've been :) so happy to see how well you're doing! I've had a hard knock these last few months and watching you rise like a phoenix is so inspiring and so helpful through my own struggles.
So glad you decided to pursue dancing again! Best of wishes on your journey. I would love to see Vlogmas on your IG story and your adoption story. I’m very interested in seeing lots of barre classes and makeup videos, but also in the future seeing more of your journey back into dance, like your training schedule and your eventual return to a company.
I personally would be interested in the Balanchine Technique videos you once started, or explanatory videos in general that visualise certain steps (,and thus, compares them to other techniques). There are a lot of technique books, but for me, it is easier to watch it while having it written down to re-read. For variation coachings, I would love to see tips on how to master such a beautiful swan variation as Marinela Nunez just posted on her Instagram - in fact, how to let go in pirouettes and do back bends or something. For ballet classes (barre and centre) everything is appreciated, but I would be very interested in a beginner ballet class for children that I can use as inspiration for teaching or centre combinations for seniors taking ballet classes. I sometimes worry that I expect too much of both ages. Ballet Barre and Center for children, in general, would be cool. Even pre-ballet lessons or ideas for creative movement classes. :) Besides giving tips that help to execute steps you could go into more detail about the teaching aspects of steps and highlighting the teacher side a little bit more. E.g. what exercises teachers should use to prepare specific steps before they're learned. Anyways, everything you come up with is highly appreciated, and I can not wait to see if you are going to perform with a company soon and which it might be! :)
I actually cried (happy tears) when you said you were dancing again and that you were working to join a company. I AM SO HAPPY AND PROUD FOR YOU! YOU ARE SO STRONG AND SUCH AN INSPIRATION! Thank you for being you Katie❤️❤️
I have never taken ballet bit I am hooked on your videos because of your positive outlook on life and your kindness just shines through! I'm glad you're back!
So glad things are going well for you! Thank you for sharing an update. Please more Once Upon A Pointe! I think the Instagram stories is a good compromise for vlogmas. Love the technique tips videos, and would love to see a pointe class that’s a little bit more than the beginner class (which I follow along with 3-5x a week), but not quite as long as the intermediate one you did. I enjoy the makeup videos but not too often. Love you Katie! Take care.
You look incredibly bright and happy! There is a fire in your eyes and voice that I'm not sure I've seen before. When you said "I gave up everything for everyone else," I could kind of see that in the way you used to present yourself - always classy and sweet, but somewhat subdued, maybe because of the illness, but maybe still finding your own voice. You are a true hero(ine!) and role model for young women.
the fact that you believe in yourself and you're back dancing after you thought you wouldn't be just makes me smile. Best inspirational dancer everrrrrr
As someone who loves ballet but can’t perform because of disabilities, take me through the well known ballets. What are the stories? Why did they endure? Who are new choreographers?
Makeup videos! Yes!!! I loved them so much! Especially when you took a ballet look and toned it down to everyday! I wore the Black Swan one to school once.
I would like to hear more about your journey back into the studio, as a dancer. What specifically has helped you regain strength or even balance? have returned to ballet after 20 some odd years, and it is a whole new world. I Know what my body needs to do to perform a step correctly but... I'm not as physically able as I once was. In fact I over did it and had to have steroid injections in both hips... Do you have any tricks or tips for someone that is 30+ ? Thank you for your interest and willingness to answer questions.
Yes, please! I am starting ballet class again after 40 years. Why not? I will not be the only over 60 so the teacher knows we have limitations. And I still love ballet.
As a non dancer I like it all. I love the commentaries and once upon a pointe. I love the stage makeup/regular makeup. And I love learning about the world of ballet.
Just wanted to say that you are an inspiration. You have not only helped my 10 year old niece with her ballet journey with your tips and encouragement but you inspire me by your graciousness, courage and determination not to allow your past to hold you down. We both enjoy all the videos you post especially videos about building confidence and your experiences of your ballet journey. Keep up the great work and thank you.
Kathryn, your goal is SO INSPIRATIONAL. A testament to getting through a dark tunnel and seeing daylight at the other end. Meanwhile, your openness and honesty are among your strengths; however, your commitment to discretion, diplomacy and personal privacy where necessary, turns you into a very special person.
More classes PLEASE more classes!! They are saving my life. I’m trying to train alone to get but into working shape after a long break and they help me SO much!! I know they must be a ton of work but I swear I’ve watched your advanced barres probably 100x each. I really appreciate that you’ve made any and they are they best technique I’ve found in my searches!! Sending you love and I know you’ll find a company soon!!
I am all for you doing all the types of videos on this channel. I've never really differentiated between the two channels anyway. You can just organize them into playlists for people who are looking for specific types. Yes makeup, yes vlogs, yes ballet. I especially like your ballet specific workouts and stretching guides that are follow along style. They motivate me to do the additional training on my own time. And it's really hard to find anyone else who meets those specific needs.
Thank you for being an inspiration to not only dancers but regular people who have had a rough patch. It is so hard to get back up and try again but your willingness to share your journey is incredibly powerful. Thank you.
Hey Katie, nice video as always. I was thinking about some video ideas, so since you asked: 1) Can you maybe do a tutorial on certain steps. For example, when you do technique videos you often talk about tips and tricks and mistakes we often make while doing it, but not very often how to start doing it and eventually progress to the full move. For example, I would like to do a tour jete and even though your video on it was good, it was more for people who are already doing it (but with some mistakes) than for a complete beginners like me. So maybe there is an idea for a video (maybe even possible video series like - technique for total beginners, or something like that) where you go step by step how to start doing it. 2) Another video (or possible series) idea. Maybe we (students) can send you some dancing videos of ourselves (maybe doing a certain step or variation or whatever) and you comment on them while we're also able to see it, like constructive criticism we can all learn from (saying what was wrong and right, where that person should improve etc) . Like few short videos per episode, something like that. 3) Another video idea, maybe like once per month you can do some kind of video where you discuss certain things which are currently going on in the ballet world (for example, when you did your point of view on the Peter Martins scandal, but of course the topics don't have to be that "hot" as that one was). Let's say something similar like the "food for thought" thing. 4) Another video idea, maybe one video about "post ballet life". So many students and dancers are so much into ballet that they don't think ahead enough, so maybe you can give some advice and guidance when it comes to the "what to do when someone can't dance anymore or quits ballet". 5) Another series idea, something like "boys in ballet" where you can maybe incorporate male students (maybe even teachers), explaining steps and other things like stage makeup, clothes, stereotypes and so on. I feel like it would be highly appreciated among male viewers. 6) Another series idea, maybe you can do like short essay history videos where you talk about some certain things like "history of a ballet shoe" or maybe even series about ballet pieces where you pick one ballet (or a ballet character) and talk about why it's so important in general and so on. 7) Another one, maybe you can do series about ballet things called like "worth the hype" where you try and review some popular products, maybe just makeup, maybe some ballet stuff. 8) Another one, maybe you can start series on music in ballet. You have basic knowledge about music from what I can tell, but many students never really played any instrument, so maybe you can give some tips and tricks on how to hear music, rhythm and so on, to help the students with musicality. 9) Another one, you have around 200 videos for now, so maybe you can make one in a sense where you talk about your TH-cam journey, from the first video up to now, maybe react to certain more important videos and such. 10) Maybe some video about foot care during the season and break. 11) Another video idea about various paddings, spacers and so on. Sorry Katie, I'm just full with ideas, so this might get annoying so I better stop, but I hope I maybe inspired you a little at least. Keep up the good work as always. Good luck.
I love #8!! I'm a teacher, and many of my students are so focused on the steps, they forget to listen to the music 🤦 or they just listen to the beat, but ignore nuances and crescendos and patterns and the style of the music. Musicality is so much of what makes a series of steps/poses an actual dance, an art, and Katie definitely has the musicality thing down 🙂
Katie, I think I speak for many when I say how proud I am of you! It's truly inspiring to see you back better than ever, healthy and with a genuine smile on your face. Whatever your future plans are, we'll be right there with you!
So good to see your happy smiling face! For those of us who’ve followed you for years - you know anything you post we’ll love. But I totally agree with those suggesting videos about your journey back to class. Totally respect your need for privacy right now but whenever you’re ready I’d love to see a day in the life video with you going to class, working out, what you’re eating and all that. It’s fascinating to see what other dancers are up to on a daily basis! I’m so excited for you! ❤️
Katie, I admire the way you've taken life's setbacks and nasty turbulence and turned them into a fresh start. I'm sure you will return to your dance career with newfound maturity, grace, and artistry. We're all rooting for you! I also struggle with petite allegro the most in class. It would be very helpful to see a video about working on those quick firing muscles for those of us who feel a little lanky and slow moving.
I feel like with big things you go through in your life you go back to the studio and dance and it helps you through it and it makes you love dance even more!
SO glad you are back and doing so well! I totally understand that you aren’t ready to get into too much personal stuff right now but I will say that whatever you feel comfortable with sharing with us (current day in your life, what you eat in a day, adoption story or vlogmas) were always some of my favorite videos of yours! We all love you and love feeling like a small part of your life. Just whatever you can manage right now. I also love your makeup/style videos. More Pilates/barre is always great to keep us working at home.
I'd love to see you in a Midsummer night's dream. I don't even care what role I just think you'd be magical in that Ballet. My favourite videos are your behind the scenes/ talking about your performances and commenting on them etc kinda videos. Although I'd like something on how your eating habits differ during performance and rehearsal periods.
I would love one or two more easy ballet barres,so i can alternate between them and work different areas. Ive had M.E. for 13 years and your easy ballet barre completely changed my strength and balance, and my attitude towards myself! Instead of vlogmas you could do the 12 ballet steps of Christmas!
Oh Katie I’m so glad you’re back! You seem very happy in your current situation, and you really deserve to be. You are such a light on TH-cam and I enjoy watching your videos so much. I’m a fan of your technique tips, once upon a pointe series, ballet with commentary, makeup videos, and I’m interested in your adoption story! Welcome back❤️
Hey Kathryn! I think technique tips and intermediate/advanced classes would be good video ideas. I also think a video on preventing knuckling in pointe shoes would be very beneficial.
Yes to more Once Upon a Pointe, please! I'd also be interested in seeing a video comparing the various ballet techniques (i.e. Vaganova, vs Balanchine vs Cecchetti etc). As a non-dancer/beginner adult ballet student/overall newbie to the ballet world, I'm also interested in a video on tips for watching ballet performances. Like miming, where to focus when there are so many dancers on stage, etc. On a sillier note, I'd love to see your reactions to ballet as portrayed in other media (the Barbie version of nutcracker, Princess Tutu, and Black Swan comes to mind). Excited to see what the future brings for you!
I just wanted to tell you that watching you come unto yourself, and following your journey, I think you're an incredibly strong amazing beautiful intelligent woman. I genuinely am really inspired seeing you so motivated and positive even through the hardships over the past few years and months. It's a pleasure to watch you hold your head high when things get tough. I wish the best for you in everything and look forward to whatever your future may bring! ❤️❤️❤️
That’s so exciting to hear about you training for a company! As soon as you get in one, I’m buying a ticket to your next ballet. To be honest, I’m glad you didn’t share any details about your divorce. Talking about things like that creates more drama and you get down from the negative thoughts. In my opinion, it’s better to move on from things like that. You went through it, it’s done, move on. I would love more ballet videos! I currently don’t have any transportation to get me to any ballet classes so your videos are keeping me afloat
I’ve found your stage makeup videos super helpful. The makeup channels don’t discuss stage specific things- So glad to hear your working back to a company and stage. Get it!!!
BRAVO Kathryn!!! You look like the young Vivien Leigh in "Gone With the wind". Embrace the new chapter in your life with the natural passion you are born with. You will know when you need to contact the companies that are attractive to you. Good luck to you and lots and lots of applause.
@@kathryn_morgan I would LOVE if you would talk about differences between English and Balanchine techniques, but also differences between your companies in terms of productions, facilities, conditions, and overall feel to them.
Wishing you the best of luck in your new endeavor! I started ballet almost 3 years ago at the age of 56. I'm loving it and I rely on videos such as yours to keep me in shape between classes. I would love more ballet workout videos without intros - 10 mins, 15 mins, 20 mins. Something I can just follow along with and there's no downtime listening to explanations. Would also love to hear about your return to dance, the process, the workouts, etc. Also, anything you can do for older dancers would be great!
Your story makes me tear up, seriously. To think you thought you’d never dance again, and that it took such a devastating experience for you to find it again is absolutely incredible. God works in mysterious ways. You are super woman!
One video I would love to see if possible is one about going back en pointe after an extended break (as in over five years), or even just getting back into ballet class after being out of it a long time. I would love advice on conditioning and building back up to that point. You look amazing and it's so obvious you're in a much better place! Best of luck!
Yes, please to makeup videos! Your style is very similar to mine, so I love getting ideas from you. :) Speaking of requests, I would also love to see the adoption story as well as Vlogmas this year, if you're up to it. I miss those. Good luck with getting back into a company, you truly deserve it and I'm already looking forward to watching you get back to the stage. Lots of love! P.S. I've been taking adult ballet classes for about 6 months now, and watching your channel regularly is what got me interested in doing ballet again (otherwise, I'm a classicist - I study Latin, so I've got nothing to do with the dance world). :)
Oh and as far as preferred videos - Classes. As a busy mom/former dancer, it’s hard to find time to grab a class. A class I can use again and again to keep/rebuild my technique. Also, I’d love to see you document your journey back into dance. I think a focus totally on dance is what I would love to see. And believe me, I am a makeup girl especially when it relates to theater and it’s also fun to see into your home life-but you are in a new season-I think the season of sharing sooooooooooo much of you is a closed chapter. show us dance. I will be satisfied with just dance. You’ve graciously shared yourself. Do what you want!! We will watch. 👍🏻
make up tutorials, once upon a pointe, your adoption story, vlogmas...all will be so exciting to watch! for a podcast, I would love to hear how it is to come back into dance after a long break, how you work to find a company etc. I am so happy that you come back on youtube too! with love
Hi Katie! In my opinion regarding makeup videos, I think a lot of people (including myself) need to know some specific do's and don'ts in stage makeup. There are beauty gurus who do normal day to day looks but they don't do makeup geared towards the atmosphere of a stage. I also would love to hear more stories in once upon a pointe. They are so relatable and entertaining. Thanks Katie for you're videos and best of wishes towards your new goal!
Hi Kathryn! I’m so excited about your return to dancing and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes you! Since you excel at the acting and artistry side of ballet perhaps you could do some videos on character analysis of classical ballet roles. As an actor/dancer these would be really interesting and helpful for anyone preparing for a role. Maybe some ballet fashion videos? Videos about dance wear companies you really like, studio style look books, a week in ballet class outfits etc.
Wow I missed hearing all Katie has to say what an amazing role model and person. Also has anyone noticed how so much more animated and glowing she is? Goes to show the benefit of putting yourself at #1 and totally living for it all
I would love to see dance/ballet content! 💕 I don't know if you've done this type if video already but I would love to see a video with everything you do to warm up before ballet class, such as stretching etc. A video entirely dedicated to exactly what you do from the very start to get warmed up before a ballet class and be really ready to start "working". Thank you so much! Love your videos and your content!!
I would also love an updated what’s in your dance bag video! Or an updated leotard collection video! Vlogamas and any Vlogs would be amazing but I completely understand your wanting to keep things private. I always look forward to any video you put out there as well as Instagram stories! Thanks!
I’m so happy for you Katie! I’ve been following you since day 1. I’m also in the process of returning to ballet after some months off with my illness I previously told you about in another video comment box. I’m not completely out of shape since I’m a teacher but it’s not like everyday class so I’m not there yet. Seeing your amazing comeback after what life has dealt you is beyond inspiring and motivating for me. I’m super self conscious about my technique and body right now but as I’m seeing you triumph through this I know I can too. 💗 Yes to makeup videos!!😀
Could you do a video about getting back into dancing after a break? Even the perspective of going from a professional dancer to teacher/teaching, and then trying to get back into shape to be full out dancing?
totally prefer the workout videos! you're like the first person with the workout stuff I can really click with (like no nonsense, explain the why behind things, etc) you're awesome!
YES! Carabosse was my absolute FAVORITE role while I was still dancing. You would make an amazing one!! Also: props for taking time for yourself. You definitely need and deserve it. I think we all would love as much content (and any content) you would like to produce! You are more than just a dancer so any content would be wonderful! Wishing you continued healing ❤️ merde!
I would love to see more makeup tutorials as well as more ballet content. I love any barre and center videos you put together. I also love the once upon a pointe series. Glad to see that you are getting back to doing what you love! Thanks for being such an inspiration in many different ways for all of us dancers!
Wow Katie you really changed between this and your last video. Here you are so calm and I have the impression that you really found yourself and you are very reflected. Like really mature. I hope you get what I’m trying to say, English is not my first language. I’m very impressed by you and I’m so happy that you seem to feel much better now! Can’t wait to follow you on your upcoming journey!
Kathryn!...I just adore you! If you are comfortable, I think a lot of us out there would love love to see dancer vlogs! ...just take us a long for your day! Being genuine and witty seems to come natural for you, and I think it would make for some amazing vlogs! Take us out n about...to class...morning routines, etc!
To be completely honest, I''m just happy you are happy and fine. I'd watch anything you decide to put up :) And I'm so happy for your plan to continue dancing, you are fantastic and totally deserve it!
I would definitely want more ballet content because there aren’t much on TH-cam offering dancing advices! And even though we’ve never met, I have learned so much from you and your videos. Please keep the ballet tips and classes on this channel 😊
I’m so glad to see how motivated you are! It’s such an improvement since your IG post about your divorce, and I’m so chuffed to see how energised and happy you are now! 💕
Would love to see more technique tips and ballet classes/workouts. I really enjoy following your dancing journey so your life updates are something I really look forward to. So happy that you are dancing again and I'm cheering for you from afar!
Would love to see more videos on ballet acting tips - getting into character, mime, facial expressions. Would also like to see a video on how you & others you've known in ballet (no names needed) handled nerves before going on.
We're rooting for you, Katie!!! You are such a resilient person, and it's so encouraging to me to see how you carry yourself through this difficult situation. I think you are an amazing role model for all women!! As far as videos go, I'd love to see more makeup videos, vlogs, etc! I love seeing what's going on in your life, and your makeup is always so beautiful, so please make more makeup videos and (when you're ready) vlogs :)
My number one favorite think you do on this channel is the barres! They have helped me keep my technique up as an adult when I can’t afford to take class much. I also love the once upon a pointe videos and the commentaries. If you were to do something new, I’d love some healthy cooking/baking videos. Love your channel so much - you’ve been such an inspiration to me ever since the day I got my dance spirit magazine with you in the cover as a teenager ❤️❤️❤️
Yaaaayyyy is so amazing to have you back!!!!!💘I'm so thankful that you are here, standing strong again!I can't explain how excited I am that you are returning to dancing! Can't wait for your future success, cause there's sure gonna be.Future awaits😍Lots of love Katie!Greetings from Greece.
If you're not ready don't rush it! Instagram stories is a great compromise :) and I personally would love more workout videos, but I'm just excited to see more from you in general. I'm glad you're doing well and that you are recovering from that bad time in your life.
I find the Q&As super informative and fun, and also really love Once Upon a Pointe. Thanks for all you do Katie, and hoping for the best for you in this new chapter!!!
I don't comment often but I'd love to see more once upon a pointe video's. More importantly though. it's so good to see that twinkle back in your eyes. When you started talking about the queen of hearts and "maleficent" you got this glow about you and your eyes started sparkling again. you have no Idea how happy that made me.
Personally, as I'm not a dancer, I love to see videos of "behind the scenes"/once upon a pointe and the commentary of ballets. Also, about the makeup videos, maybe you could do some stage makeup videos? I'm an actress and I really enjoyed your videos and got some very interesting advices from it. Also I really love the videos where you share your tips on how to overcome insecurities and how to prepare yourself for the stage and stuff like that
I cried for solid 10 minutes when you said you're back in a company, please do makeup video, workout routines (back streght, plssss), stretching, technique tips, storytimes, anything would be great, you're my favourite dancer and youtuber 💖
Wow! So glad you’re back! If anything has changed in how you warm up for class or cool down (!!!!) from class or what you do along with ballet to strengthen yourself, I would love to see it! Also just thought I’d let you know how much you’re videos have helped me with my dancing especially in my nutcracker role this year (dewdrop)!!! You’re the best!
More Once Upon A Pointe please!! Would enjoy hearing your adoption story too. And well done for taking time for you - self care is not selfish: it’s essential 💚
I would DEFINITELY love to hear about your adoption story for sure, and I always REALLY love your Once Upon a Pointe stories and your commentaries too. My favorite videos of yours are the ones where you just talk to us lol.
Hi Katie I’m so glad you are dancing again. I would love to listen to more of your podcast again and see some more ballet classes, makeup videos and once upon a pointe. I’m really struggling to remember combinations so an updated version of that video would be great too. Thank you for all your videos, you’ve really helped me as a late starter to ballet . X
I don’t know if this is an odd question, but I was wondering if you could talk about what to do when you’re worrying about things being too late. Like, say you want to try for SAB or Boston Ballet but, you’re two years away from the cut off age. Would it be worth it to go for it, or should you just try dancing in college or something?
I would love to see makeup videos but maybe more of the ballet STAGE makeup side!! Also,PLEASE MORE WORKOUTS! I am trying to get stronger without a gym it’s kind of difficult! Also will you continue to do TH-cam after you get into a company? If so please do more vlog style videos where you show us a day in the life or how you get ready for a show! Love you so much and so happy that you are back!!
First of all, I think its incredible that you're attempting to get back into dancing again, but I do want to caution you to keep your health and what's more important in mind. After you stopped dancing, you said you'd never been happier because your health was so good (plus other things). Please don't forget that! I'd hate to see you on stage and dancing again except making yourself sick again! But I am also really excited!! Answers: 1. Yes I'd love to see more makeup videos, although everything you film I love! I LOVE MAKEUP! 2. Good for you with your moderation! I think that is a really wonderful thing, and a good message for all of us out there! 3. I like what you said about insecurity. I'm 19 years old, petite, curvy, I have only been dancing for 3 years, and I struggled majorly with comparing myself to others, but once I only looked at myself and my own personal goals, I was 100% happier! 4. I WANT MORE ONCE UPON A POINTE!!! 5. I'd love if you did vlogs on here (I think vlogmas is probably a little too much for you right now...You don't need to do everything immediately...we're patient, we can afford to wait a few months/years). 6. Oh my gosh, the Queen of Hearts is so funny!!!! I showed it to my family the first time I saw it and was almost crying, it was so hysterical! 7. What I'd like to see is more workouts and technique tips! Thanks again, Katie, and I wish you all the best!
I was just rewatching some of your past workout videos and stuff and am so glad to see you back! I think it is really great that you are thinking about going into a company again, but we probably wouldn't get as much behind the scenes as we do now,I am super happy to see your health and your dancing improve where you can join a company and can't wait to see what happens next!
So happy that you seem happy! Any type of video that you feel like making is good with me. I’m always thrilled when there’s a ballet class video (intermediate:advanced), but they must be a lot of work for you? Lovely to have you back! x
VIDEO SUGGESTION - I would love to see a ballet gear update video (what current shoes are you wearing? ribbons? current favorite leos? tights? And so on...) 👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️
Some more specific video ideas in this vein:
- how to get started (Very first steps so you don’t push yourself too hard or get unmotivated)
- effective ways to regain technique, strength, and flexibility
- mindset and motivation tips
- classes for advanced dancers who may be a bit tight or weak due to a long break or injury
I’m so happy to have you back and am so glad you seem to be very happy with where your life is headed. I hope to see you dance in person some day! ❤️
I would also be very interested in your adoption story! I want to adopt someday and love hearing about people’s experiences.
I agree with both of these comments from plant based bride 💜💜💜
Love you Katie 💞💞💞
I love this idea!
With a goal of one video a week, I’d like to focus on dance / workout content. There are lots of makeup channels, and very few dance channels.
That's what I was thinking as well. Thank you for the feedback!
@@kathryn_morgan thank you for reading our comments and interacting with us! We appreciate it with how busy you've been :) so happy to see how well you're doing! I've had a hard knock these last few months and watching you rise like a phoenix is so inspiring and so helpful through my own struggles.
I agree!!
Amen to that!! ... not that ur makeup isn't lovely...but its definitely more difficult to find great dancer videos!
As a non dancer, my favorite videos are the behind the scenes stories! More of them!
Totally agree!
I will definitely do those!
I'd love to hear the adoption story! So happy you're back :D
Me too
Yes, that would be great!!
Yes I can't wait to hear it!
Me too!
Yes! Do it please!
Also, a big YES to #OnceUponAPointe
So glad you decided to pursue dancing again! Best of wishes on your journey. I would love to see Vlogmas on your IG story and your adoption story. I’m very interested in seeing lots of barre classes and makeup videos, but also in the future seeing more of your journey back into dance, like your training schedule and your eventual return to a company.
Great suggestions Rebecca, thank you! xoxo
The makeup videos are cool but I would prefer dance related stuff
I agree! Thank you! xo
I'd like make up videos if they were stage/character/dance make up
I actually cried (happy tears) when you said you were dancing again and that you were working to join a company. I AM SO HAPPY AND PROUD FOR YOU! YOU ARE SO STRONG AND SUCH AN INSPIRATION! Thank you for being you Katie❤️❤️
Interested in adoption story and other topics besides dancing. Glad you are well and in a happier place.
I have never taken ballet bit I am hooked on your videos because of your positive outlook on life and your kindness just shines through! I'm glad you're back!
Awww thank you so much Elena! I truly appreciate it!
Take care.
Perfect suggestions! Thank you Jennifer!
So happy you are working on your dancing again! 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you Leila!
It's so amazing that you're working on dancing in a company again! I'm so happy for you!!
Thank you so much!
Do a what I eat in a day! That would be interesting!
the fact that you believe in yourself and you're back dancing after you thought you wouldn't be just makes me smile.
I will definitely work on it!
Great suggestion Christine. I will work on doing a video for that!
@@kathryn_morgan thank you 😊
Yes, please!
I was thinking about some video ideas, so since you asked:
1) Can you maybe do a tutorial on certain steps.
Musicality is so much of what makes a series of steps/poses an actual dance, an art, and Katie definitely has the musicality thing down 🙂
Sandra R Wow! What brilliant and amazing suggestions!! Hope Katie does all of them! 😍💕
These are great, creative suggestions! I hope Katie sees them.
These are great! Katie can hire you as her content manager. 😃
@@greenwillow5404 thank you, you're so nice!
I'm so excited for you that you are dancing again! We love you Katie and I can't wait to see your videos again❤ Please do some makeup videos
Awww thank you so much!
Good luck to you and lots and lots of applause.
how i love the excitement in your eyes while talking about going back on stage😍
So glad you’re back Katie! Could you please do a collaboration with Claudia Dean? That would be so amazing! 💕
We are definitely working on it! We would love to!
Glad you are back to dancing! Would love to see a video on some tips for adult beginners and dancers with inflexible feet!
make up tutorials, once upon a pointe, your adoption story, vlogmas...all will be so exciting to watch!
for a podcast, I would love to hear how it is to come back into dance after a long break, how you work to find a company etc.
Goes to show the benefit of putting yourself at #1 and totally living for it all
Love, love, love Once Upon A Pointe. Your style of narrating just captivates me 💜
I would love to see dance/ballet content!
Thanks!
I would love to hear about the adoption story. Glad you are healing, you're in my prayers.
Yes to makeup videos!!😀
I love once upon a pointe videos mixed in with makeup and ballet videos, I think instagram stories is an excellent idea to dip your feet into vlogmas!
Could you do a video about getting back into dancing after a break? Even the perspective of going from a professional dancer to teacher/teaching, and then trying to get back into shape to be full out dancing?
I want more #onceoponapoint, it is really inspiring to me as a 14 years old !!!
totally prefer the workout videos! you're like the first person with the workout stuff I can really click with (like no nonsense, explain the why behind things, etc) you're awesome!
So glad to see you coming back to yourself fully and coming through such hard times stronger
I'd watch anything you decide to put up :)
And I'm so happy for your plan to continue dancing, you are fantastic and totally deserve it!
I love all your suggestions! Adoption story, vlogs, once upon a pointe, technique tips, everything! (Only do what you’re comfortable with though💜)
PLEASE DO VLOGMAS!!! We all love learning about your incredible life!
I really appreciate how you answered the title questions first!
Probably not the most popular request, but I would love to hear advice or tips for ballet teachers!
4:50 can you please do an odette stage makeup?
Also, I would love to see more technique and more advice!
I would love more Once Upon a Pointe and your adoption story. I’m so glad you’re doing well!
That is so cool, that you want to join a Company again! Wish you good luck! 🍀🍀🍀
Thank you so much!
Answers:
Lovely to have you back! x
Maybe just a Christmas Eve video, instead of full vlogmas? Your and your mom's decorations are always so lovely!
VIDEO SUGGESTION - I would love to see a ballet gear update video (what current shoes are you wearing? ribbons? current favorite leos? tights? And so on...) 👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️
I admit I would prefer all ballet content, but it could include the ballet makeup series! It inspires both ballet and makeup insights
