Been watching this video over a couple times since I'm new to the game and learning Swordsoul as my first deck. Keep struggling to get the wryn effects down right, but this really taught me how to utilize combos with longyun and when or when not to use emergence and blackout
This deck combos really well with a baron, and if you run it alongside snake eyes you can amass an absurd amount of negates and banishment responses that activate on your opponents turn. recommend watching a baron de fleur tutorial before you run it as it is a complex card and you can accidentally unsummon it and negate your own effects by accident.
This guide was so helpful for me. I just started playing a few weeks ago, and it would have taken me forever to figure this all out. Really appreciate it!
I've been using swordsoul for 3 days now and haven't been struggling as much I was while using red eyes, this decklist revamped my deck and play style. Legit video to help the swordsoul society ✨
Thank you for this. I'm new to the game (been playing about a month) and Swordsoul is my first deck too. This guide certainly helped me get going in games. I'm still misplaying a lot and most of the time, I'm not entirely sure what I'm dong but this has helped me get started. Hopefully, I'll improve as I play more. It's a fun deck.
Swordsoul is good first deck to learn modern yugioh, and don’t worry about misplaying we all do that, keep on using the deck and eventually you’ll master it
Thank you for the guide! I started Yugioh a few months back with Swordsoul, and I’ve been playing it as my main deck since then. Guides like this have really helped me learn the deck and how to play it properly, even back when I was starting and had no clue what to do. I’ve grown to really like the deck, and I know it may not be meta anymore, but it’s still totally competent and fun to play. Plus there’s always some new interaction to discover. Thanks again!
One important thing for Swordsoul is to maintain resources in hand. I am not very fond of Taia -> Chixiao combo because it tends to deplete my hand. Let me add some powerful variations/feedback: 1. Better Taia combo line (Req: any Swordsoul/ wyrm in GY) - Summon Taia, activate to summon token - Synchro to Baxia (instead of Chixiao), Taia discard Mo Ye (you can use Baxia effect if you go 2nd to return 2 cards to the deck, otherwise let it be) - Baxia destroy self summon Mo Ye. - Go to standard Mo Ye combo (Chixiao + lv.10 Synchro) Note: You will refill your hand with this combo instead of a direct Taia -> Chixiao. Having Mo Ye in GY is also very beneficial for many things. 2. Longyuan + Ashuna OTK (Going 2nd) - Summon Longyuan discard Ashuna - Activate Ashuna from GY summon Adhara - Longyuan + Adhara synchro to Yazi - Activate Yazi, destroy self & 1 dangerous card from the opponent (preferably targeted negate) - Summon Taia from the deck, and activate its effect by banishing Longyuan. Now you have Taia + 2 tokens. - Synchro to Baxia, Taia discard Mo Ye to GY (for route b below), or discard any useful Tenyi like Vishuda for extra bounce (for route a below) . Now we have 2 routes: a. If you have Mo Ye / any card to access Mo Ye in hand: Baxia destroys the token to revive Adhara. Synchro to Chaofeng. Then, normally summon Mo Ye and create Chixiao. Search for "Swordsoul Sacred Summit". Use Summit to revive Yazi. You should be able to OTK with 3 monsters (Chaofeng, Chixiao, Yazi) and after 3 removals (1 Yazi + 2 Baxia) Note: This is the anti-nibiru line b. If you don't have Mo Ye / any card to access it: Baxia destroys the token to summon Mo Ye from GY. Mo Ye summon a token. Activate Adhara from GY to return back the Longyuan you banished with Taia (for next turn resources) Continue with Chixiao -> Summit -> Yazi line This is also OTK just hope there is no Nibiru. 3. How to summon Punisher lv 7 Tenyi + Ecclesia. when? if your opponent has a Giga board full of negates. (Let's hope they let your Tenyi get summoned because their negate probably can't negate Ecclesia's summoning) 4. Chixiao + Aegirine for 1st turn endboard often brought me a better result than Chixiao + Baronne. Aegirine's banish ruined more plays compared to Baronne's negate & destroy. Having immunity from Banish & destruction also helps a lot. Not to mention Aegirine can revives herself making it a very resource-efficient boss monster. 5. Anti-Nibiru Tenyi Line Before starting a Swordsoul combo, always try to bait handtraps with Tenyi. And if your Tenyi make it, it will be a full anti-Nibiru line. - SS Ashuna -> Monk - SS Adhara / Vishuda -> Banish Ashuna summon the other Adhara/Vishuda - Synchro summon Baxia. - Baxia destroys Monk to summon Adhara. - Baxia + Adhara = Chaofeng light-lock - Start your Swordsoul combo without meteor jumpscare. Sorry for the long post. I saw a returnee/rookie reward in the notif just now that gave a free Swordsoul deck, so I figured this might help.

Wait a min, you re that MOHA that plays dbfz?
@@GustavoNurseTips nope I’m not, I don’t know who he is, do you mind dropping me a link of him so I can leave a comment there?

@@Moha-MasterDuelthis is the player "ArGin" playing against "Moha"
Also Moha has a lot of opponents and yet I didn't find the moha channel
@@GustavoNurseTips ah thanks for letting me know but no that’s not me
This deck is so expensive lol
You can get it for cheap if you’re a new/returning player, by using a code, are you a new/returning player?
Yes
@@andrewmorzinski when you open the game, press on 🤝 icon, then press on rookie and returner mutual follower campaign, press on enter code, enter this code: 3dc47d87
Should give you a lot of the cards in this video
@@Moha-MasterDuel okay. I think I must be doing something wrong because I’m in silver 4 with this deck and I have lost 11 straight duels.
@@andrewmorzinski have you mastered the deck or still learning combos?
I'm fuckin lost
@@HPSCOURCE I’m sorry bro
If there’s any way I can help let me know
@@Moha-MasterDuel DW man, I just rewatched the video again a couple times and I got it. I was messing it up because I didn't have most of the extra deck
@@HPSCOURCE good to know you figured it out
Good luck 🫡
@@Moha-MasterDuel dude this deck is amazing
@@HPSCOURCE indeed it’s strong and fun to play!
This video gets me a lil bricked up
Lmao glad I could help
@@Moha-MasterDuel I basically had exactly this deck made up minus Baronne for some reason n I never learned how to actually use it, I jus climbed from grey to platinum in one night and I only dropped 3 games - with the help of this video lol
@@jiujitsuman9643 that’s insane bro well done! Can definitely see you going up to master rank with this
@@Moha-MasterDuel I hope so, Baxia is sweet from second. Also can u tell me is there any reason to pack in swordsoul strife? As I refer to multiple guides normally and you seem to be the most knowledgeable i am curious if I even need it in my deck
@@jiujitsuman9643 really appreciate the nice words! U don’t need strife at all! No one uses it
I somehow still bricked
Lmao unlucky, the deck has so many starters it’s hard to brick
So lack luster
If you’re talking about the video, I’m just showing main combos and situations you’ll find yourself in the most, the deck can definitely do much more than this
@Moha-Masterduel your video is top notch. My comment wasn't bashing it. I meant SS in general. I came here searching for something I may be missing
@@mr.violationps5968 ah fair enough thanks bro
