I've shot a ton of CCI mini mag and have NEVER had a malfunction, failure to feed or eject or go BANG in my grandmother's 90 year old bolt action tube fed rifle or Ruger SR22 pistol or Ruger 10-22 semi-auto rifle. That's an amazing track record for a 22 rim fire round. I see no point in changing; it's all I'll ever buy.
Any hit from a .22 lr round will make you seriously reassess your desire to stay in thst area.
My thoughts exactly.. watching videos where it shows shatter pork ribs and such.. if it does that to human ribs and you aren't phased you are either juiced or crazy

Yep. I’d rather have the option of pumping an aggressor full of .22lr rounds than have to sit there and hold back and worry about running out. I’ll take high capacity all day, every day even if the caliber isn’t as strong. Lead is lead when it hits you.
.22 LR and .22 Magnum are completely different rounds and not interchangeable
if you have a revolver depending on the company you can buy a different cylinder to switch out to 22 mag from lr (those heritage revolvers do anyway and they are cheap!)

I have a heritage roughrider 22 revolver that can fire 22lr or 22 Magnum just by changing the wheel chamber. The 22 Magnum and the 22 lrs, 22 Sr are the exact same caliber, just different cartridges that's all.
We cannot trust the numbers here. EXAMPLE: around the 8:00 mark, you state the CCI ammo is $10.00 for a 50 round package is 2 cents per round. No. $10.00 divided by 50 is 20 cents.

I have both as CCW. Never feel outgunned when I use a long rifle nor the magnum. My Walther or KelTec are great guns, lotsa mags.

Yep. I was looking for that, too. It gives the best penetration results (something you want in a flyweight, anemic little projectile) in sub-3-inch barrels. Probably the best choice for folks rocking the little NAA mini revolvers.

How you add aguila interceptors but not federal punch
You may not always want to "tell" the target where you are hiding, or even know you are shooting. So, consider CCI subsonic ammo in a Ruger 10/22. Change the return spring to a light spring so the gun cycles without stove-pipe hang-ups (light springs are readily available from places like KITT that sells a kit with one heavy and one light recoil spring as well as a polished guide rod for the 10/22). Just follow the printed instructions; a gun smith is not needed. Then add a noise suppressor to the muzzle. Adding a bolt return buffer pad makes the package amazingly quiet. Check with your state's hunting laws since not everyone is happy with quiet hunting, especially not groundhogs.

My Taurus TX-22 only likes CCI mini mag 40gr 1235fps. round nose or in hp , it feeds . I've tried Aguila 38gr 1280fps.hp. but it has conical nose and hangs up damnit. I'll try it in my Tippmann Arms M4-22 or just use it in the Heritage Rough Riders . The TX-22 worked great for 400rds. then started key holing so I put a new barrel on it , the rifling sucks barely any . Most guns only work well with certain ammo.
I recently bought the TX22 and had some Norma 22's and they jammed up constantly in it. Tried some Remington 22 Golden HP and they worked great. Going to try CCI next

This is some stupid information. You can't put the 22 mag against the LR if you're going to do so, then add the 223 NATO that would also be incorrect. I have tested 22LR and found the only one that will go through a gallon jug of water, and that's the one to use for self-protection.
We haven't been able to locate any 22 mag ammo anywhere in 4 years. If you bought a gun that exclusively runs 22 mag you're shit outta luck So u can chuck those silly ass Kelteks. Haha

I’m in Oklahoma and can get 22mag ammo at Walmart and academy, more at academy.
I literally can go into Walmart in my suburban area and buy all the .22 mag I can afford (not as cheap as before but still plenty cheap ) .17 hmr as well ,of course .22 lr and even .22 short so I think maybe you stopped looking. My lgs is even better I can get .22 sss 60gr and punch and silver tip even the impossible to find uppercut

I chrono’d Velocitors in my Ruger 10/22 and got an average of 1292 fps. In my CZ 452 the chrono showed 1323 fps. 1435 fps = BS.

I don't know when this video was put out when it came to hunting season of 2023. I bought a box of 22 vomit Winchester vomit loads. It cost me $23 for 50 rounds. Can't afford to miss with it

Why include the CCI Velocitor, stating that it's probably not a reliable choice for SD but it's the most affordable. Affordability is important for plinking, not for a self defense round so why include it here?
Also, near the beginning, he makes the statement that "NO hollow point .22 LR bullet effectively expands on impact when fired from a hand gun", then goes on to show the Hornady and Speer and state their reliability to expand on impact when fired from a hand gun.
