Ahhhh, just visited Serbia this past August, along with 7 other Balkan countries, and it was wonderful! Looooooooed it (and that "love" needs to be sung). And I highly recommend going but also doing your research about the country's history beforehand because it's so interesting and you'll love the country that much more if you know more about it.
Ognjen Pendo, We did!! We crossed into Montenegro from Kosovo (Peja), slept in Berane, went to the beach in Petrovac (❤️), then went to BH. I love all those places!! I want to go back.
I travelled to Belgrade in the Summer, fell in love with it. Flew there again for Christmas, fell in love with a Serbian boy. And now... (as soon as we are able to fly again) I want to move my life to Serbia, to fall in love with it all over again! ❤️❤️❤️

My wife has relatives in Loznica and Belgrade. Typical second generation immigrant family to America but she was the first in her family to visit the homeland. We have now been to the Balkans 3 times in the past 3 years and have fallen in love with the land, culture and people. We are planning to return again next fall hopefully for a longer stint of 2-3 months.
Hi Čarli brate, here in Serbia we have churches older than that you mentioned. We have churches that was founded in the 4th century during Roman Empire rule. I can still remember when I was mailing something to my inlaws in Belgrade and was told by the US post office that there was no Yugoslavia anymore, so I must write Serbia. It was news to us considering my husband still had a Yugoslav passport. Thank you for all your video's I have passed them along. I can remember when the Serbs were so demonized that it was horrible introducing my husband here in the states. The knowledge of Serbs was dismal and only what was seen in movies. Over there you can eat any meat, fruit or veggies for couple of bucks, while here you need almost 10$ just for a burrito! Clothes is more expensive in Serbia, unfortunately. Especially shoes. None of my shoes or sneakers are paid more than 50-60$. But also in the States cars are expensive, health is super expensive, education is super mega expensive, and houses are super mega turbo expensive lol. Pricam ti istinu.

Pay the rent - about 1.000$, pay the monthly fee for a car - about 300$, God forbid you have college debt - you will be paying 500$ or more per month in the next 20+ years!!! As we were unloading our car the bellhop is walking towards me and I knew instantly he was Serbian. As he greets me I greet him in Serbian. There is a stable population of wolves in Serbia, around 800 of them, Balkan Lynx can also be seen, which is critically endangered species unfortunetely and healthy population of brown bears of between 50 to 80 individuals, that you already mentioned. :)
