Toyota Tundra TRD shift knob, Pros, Cons, Install issues.

Hey folks, thanks for watching. Recently I was on the hunt for a Toyota TRD PRO shift knob for my 2021 Toyota Tundra. I saw many at around one hundred dollars but really didn't want to spend that. So after hunting around I found a TRD PRO shift knob in black for under fifty dollars. In this video, I go over the pros and cons and the install issues I had. Still a great shifter knob and it looks great and stops the sun from reflecting in my face.
Loctite threadlocker blue is designed to easily be replaceable with common tools, whereas red is a more permanent fix.

Don't use permanent loctite if you ever wanna change that out. The Blue is just fine. Red will lock it down for sure though 🤣

Maybe, but it’s held tight even after removal for another mod. You, can’t beat OEM anytime but I was looking for an excuse to change it out.

Depends on the color, red or blue. I can't remember what I used but it held great and still does even after removing it a few times to do work. Really just depends on the application. Thanks for watching more videos to come.

You can get harbor freight loctite real cheap.
