- In this video I install and showcase a few AJT Design interior trim pieces for my 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD. I also got my hands on a lunar rock key fob... I love it!
What do you guys think? To me, it makes the cheap interior feel a bit more premium. It ties it all together much better...

I really like AJT Design pieces, from key fobs to other pieces. It’s almost mandatory for me.

Invest in a trim remover kit. Costs about $40 on amazon. No more marred interior or exterior parts. Prying with screwdriver more often than not will damage something.

I changed a lot of my army green pro interior to ajt design products. Makes truck look so much better.
Agreed! It’s a shame that we “have” to do mods like this to make our $55K trucks look good inside lol.

Thanks bud. Though I liked the red bolts, they seemed a little more cherry blossom red than TRD Pro red... so that was my only gripe about them.

Dig the channel. I want to add a two way radio in the center console so this is really helpful. Quick questions for you... that’s a TRD Pro, right? What size and model tires do you have on it? Any rubbing? Love the look, beautiful truck!
I appreciate that man, thank you! Yep this is a 2021 Tundra TRD Pro in lunar rock. I put Nitto Ridge Grapplers on it, they are 285/70/18 in size -keep in mind that the Pro sits about 2in higher than other trims. 👌🏻

Just bought entire kit, dispaoointed they forgot to pack the shift frame ring. so I will wait until that comes to prevent taking console off twice.

Looks awesome. I have had the chrome delete for the interior for over 6 months, haven’t installed it because I didn’t want to have any regrets. Are you going to put the black rings around the air vents? After watching this on how easy and good it turned out I’m literally going to install right now. Thanks for the video.

@@UntamedMotors finally pulled the trigger and de chromed the Tundra. Little nerve racking drilling on the console, thanks for the tip on using a smaller drill bit first to tackle the plastic welds. Definitely makes the truck darker inside at night. Turned out great. Thanks for the content.

Is it possible to change the interior of the Tundra 2018 to 2023 I have a Tundra and I want to change its interior
I mean everything is possible but it’s be very expensive and wouldn’t up the value much in your 18

Sorry guy, but with the bolts exposed like that it looks crappy. Couldn't you spray the old cover plates to match the rest instead? At least if you did it wouldn't look so incomplete.

@@notoffroading 4Runner =] the 4.0L feels much better in the 4Runner compared to the Tacoma’s 3.5... not to mention, it’s still built in Japan which is a plus. 👌🏻
@@UntamedMotors I would love a tundra but too much gas but I need a bed to haul stuff from time to time. I've had my taco for like 6 months trading it for a pro tho.
@@notoffroading good move trading for a Pro. 👌🏻 Tacoma’s meet the needs of most folks I’d argue, they’re a perfect size if you don’t have little ones imo.
What tires are those? They fill out the truck great! Also where are you from? I think I’ve seen your green 4Runner around.

@@Savage_Offroad no spacers. Slight rubbing at full lock in reverse -otherwise it’s perfect. 285/70/18 has zero rubbing so you may want to try that.

AJT Design, Google them. They’re awesome! I downsized from the land cruiser to get a new 4Runner TRD Pro. (Got rid of the loan).

I think he is gunna keep this Tundra a while, long while. I think he regretted getting rid of the 2020 Army green Pro shortly after he traded it... and found his way back into a Lunar Rock TRD pro for that reason. #TundraLife

Maybe you should have removed the aftermarket parts from the 2020, reinstall the stock parts. That way you would not have to purchase these aftermarket parts again.
I removed most aftermarket parts before trading the 2020 in if you recall. I have a video of it. I ended selling most of it... I didn’t think I’d be back in a Tundra.
I have only seen a couple of your videos. Good you were able to sell them. I believe I like the lunar rock color better than the army green. I have a 2019 SR5 in mag grey. Plan to keep it a very long time. I'm a chrome, cloth interior, CD, key start & V8 kind of guy. Enjoy your new Tundra.

Every video I’ve watched so far that shows how to remove cup holder plastic trim says to start where this guy starts and they all mar up their plastic.
Grab hold of the cup holder area with both hands and pull up......no tools needed.....no marring.
This is the easiest way to do it. If you can hulk pull it, power to you. Lol. I’m OCD and even I don’t care about “marring” a spot that’ll always be covered. Most will be good with this method.
Looks good, but IMO not really necessary. It's still plastic and at the end of the day not that important.
You’re right, these things are super small... but I’d rather look at black trim pieces all day than fake chrome. Though plastic still, it looks more premium I’d argue. =] it’s not like they cost a lot either...
