I was a laborer there while it was being built. The way the floor was done and the paint applied was amazing.. it was all done by hand! I have pics while it was being done also of both inside and outside of facility.
I was just there during Christmas break, I got the chance to meet Shannon and I took a picture with him. The Womble is one of the holy grails of Texas Tech Sports for sure!

Truth be told, the new Big 12 will be on par with the ACC in terms of a basketball confrence. Legit programs are coming in, and with BYU, Cincy, UH. Top to bottom, it's a solid basketball confrence.
