I got 2. One for each cat. I can honestly say that they don’t wake me up in the mornings now. I get to sleep in!!! So grateful! I set it for 2 portions at 5 am, 1 at 12:00pm, 2 at 6:00pm and 1 at 12:00am.

Lol my instruction manual is so small print even with glasses so this is greatly appreciated it and you made it seem so simple even though I absolutely hate math. Ha ha

We have it on battery power for outdoor cat while we were away and would like to turn it off but keep the current timer settings, now that we are back from being out of town. I do not see a power switch and I can't find my users manual. Can you tell me how I can power it off without losing the timer settings? Thanks again. you rock and your cats are beautiful! 😸
hello my friend..I am not sure about your question.. I wish I could help out on this.. I think if you turn off the power it might lose the settings. YOU can change them to off but I don't think that is what YOU want. I wish I could help you out on this! haha they are quite cute aren't they? Glad I watched this video because the portion sizes laid out in the manual are just flat out wrong. It says 1 portion = 1/24 of a cup. So I wanted to give 1/3 of a cup which is 8 portions. Set it for 8 and the bowl completely overflowed. The manual is totally useless, thank you for this.
I have echo dot, I have smart plugs, smart lights, and everything works great, but setting up this thing, is frustrating. I got it all set up, and that in itself was difficult to figure out, the manual is UGH! So I pressed the manual portion button, to make sure it works, I push the button, and the tiny screen lights up, but nothing comes out, I hear no noise from the unit, and at this point, after so much frustration figuring out the buttons, and getting it set, I am not going to reset it. I have to walk away for now.
@@ETPCYT I walked away, and on time it did dispense the food, a little less than I thought, but I reprogrammed it to be what I wanted. However, the manual button to add food, doesn't work, and I don't care at this point... My cat for the first time today, didn't jump from a deep sleep on my lap, the minute the food hit the bowl, he went and ate when he woke late. My cat is picky, and sometimes will beg when he has food in his dish. This causes me stress, which causes him stress, so he was not letting me sleep at night, so insistent on food, and even getting a bit aggressive. I have serious health issues, and am in heart failure, so stress, is not good, and lack of sleep is very bad. I started thinking he was food insecure. He at times can over eat and then throw it all up and then beg even more urgently for more, but then refuse the food he just threw up. He is very bonded to me, and protective. I got the feeder to get him to not depend on me so much for the food itself, to see that he had food to eat, but not too much. The first night, he flew to the hall when he heard the food drop. I went to sleep, and he woke me about 45 minutes before feeding time, begging for food. I sat up in my bed and told him that the food would come soon. So in the dark, we sat staring at each other, till the food dropped and he ran to it. I went back to sleep.Everytime it dropped he ran to it. Last night I saw him about a foot away from the feeder, it had food in it, but he was just sitting staring at it. He did this for a very long time. I think he has accepted that this is how he will be getting food, unless he gets a little canned food now and then, and has really settled down. So yeah, the manual button doesn't work, but I will keep the unit as this has really helped my cat's anxiety, and my anxiety and last night, I almost got 8 hours 🎈

Hey Jan, you could unplug it / remove the batteries for about 1 minute then replace the plug or batteries.. that should do it
