I actually prefer this one over Latata, something about this song feels very....soothing? Idk the right word for it

Personally, I thought g-idle wouldn't be able to top Latata because IT WAS SO GOOD.
But when Hann came out, I was shook. I have never heard a song like this before. I can't even point out what genre it is or what era it reminds me of(I think late 90s or early 00s maybe???)
Soyeon slaying again with her rap verses, Minnie has that beautiful distinctive voice and pronunciation that quickly grabs your attention, Shuhua FINALLY has lines and her voice is so soothing, MIYEON REALLY WRECKED ME IN THIS COMEBACK I LOVE HER VOICE SO MUCH THAT PRECHORUS IS AMAZING, Yuqi proving to us that she's not only cute but she's fierce and sexy as well AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON MY BIAS AKA GODDESS SOOJIN BECAUSE SHE SNAPPEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD her voice during the verse is so deep and beautiful and sexy and soothing and relaxing and smooth and amazing and sksldkdk
The choreo is beautiful as well, I love how they want for more delicate and smooth moves instead of very sharp and knife-like

not gonna lie was anxiously waiting for your reaction to their new song!! absolutely loved it :’) hann for me was better than latata, and i was afraid it was gonna be like latata, but i’m glad hann was not the case, i love so much more. but i do agree, theyre creating a brand, their sound for themselves. everyone looked so good too esp soojin, her part is my favorite. i hope you do listen to gidle’s sidetracks, i think their sidetracks are pretty impressive for a group that recently debuted!

I liked this song after listening to only 10 seconds, lmao, I think it's much better than Latata, but it's just my preference. I didn't understand the hype about this group when they debuted, but now I do and I'll probably stan them, they are amazing.

The spelling is so weird, I didnt knew how to read the groups name until I saw it written in korean, and it's "Yeo-ja idol" ("yeoja" 여자 means women in korean)

(about Hann) *Soyeon:* To be precise, it's a summer song and has the feelings of summer, but it's a different, unique feeling. It isn't cliché. You know how summer songs are usually happy, bright and uptempo? This one is more down-tempo. I wrote it as well.
*Yuqi:* I'm thankful to the fans for loving us so much. We're going to try something new with our future music and are going to fulfill your already-high expectations. I want you to look forward to us and our upcoming albums!

The running theme with them (though I think Soojin put it the best) is that they really aren't your run-of-the-mill girl group and they are willing to try different things! Apparently, they haven't even shown us all their sides yet so I'm sure in the future we'll be able to see different things from them :)

I have to disagree with you on the set design needing to be more full. I believe it hammers home the theme of isolation in the song. The moving on, being strong, independence. I think it's reflected well in the set design. The lack of color could arguably tie in to that, talking about how the blue has become sad, mentions of "cold", love is darkness and can't be turned back. Just my thoughts.
With that said, I'm glad you seemed to enjoy the song otherwise! Thanks for the great reaction as usual! :)

I’ve been waiting for this. Finally it is here.
At first I thought this was a good song. But after listening to it more and more I think they blew expectations away. I love this song. The thing that gets me hyped every time is when one of the girls says "HANN" theres something about it that as a musician I melt every time I hear it. the auto tune helps it too
this song is so gorgeous and the moves are so enticing, like I seriosuly relisten to this songs several times a day and I have shivers from the song, the chorus with moves influence on my body like ASMR
My first time listening to Hann I wasn’t sure then I realised how badly it got stuck in head then listened to it again... and again.... and again.... and again until it’s now my absolute favourite song at the moment

This is the second group I'm stanning after BTS. I rarely stan other groups but there's something about G-idle that makes me attracted especially since Alone is a really good song like it's so light, smooth and a flowy song and the lyrics, the dance, the vocal and the visual is just 110/10

Hann is still my fav to date. Other title tracks and especially Lion & Put It Straight, were close to dethroning it, but Hann, on many different levels was just perfect for me. MV, music, live stage, choreo, outfits, were all just stunning. And small details too.

Was in my recommended list on TH-cam one day and fell in love with them
Thank god PD I’ve been waiting for sooo long!! Lol. And we were the same at first I was like hmmm okay but by the second verse I was like OKAY by the end I was here for it and I think this is better than Latatata and more original. I’m excited to see what they do next.

Yes the name is so confusing especially for foreign viewers ahah I was originally pronouncing it like gee idle but I believe it’s just idle with a silent g... I don’t get the silent g tho..
I absolutely love what this group is doing! The music feels sultry and vibrant which is refreshing from the sweet and cute concepts (which I still do enjoy)

The G is silent, I believe it was Yuqi that explained it in en episode of After School Club that it's a play on words in korean. Something about it meaning a "group of individuals"? I will have to rewatch it, but I like this song! Soyeon is a talented songwriter, rapper and performer. I remember her off of Unpretty Rapstar and I was looking forward to whatever she was doing next. When LATATA came out, I remember hearing that same, nasally toned voice and cadence! IT was hard to recognize her with makeup and without a ball cap lol Anyways, love the react PD from one trans peep to another.

Seriously you really should listen to their debut EP. Honestly one of the best albums of this year. I know how hard it is to take time to listen to every album that comes out, but I AM is far beyond what I would ever expect from a debut group. Well worth your time.
Hi PD! I love your reaction and analysis again. I really do like this song, honestly more than Latata but both are great. Especially the chorus. I agree the subtleness of this did the wonder. And the "woo" part like a whistle is also interesting. I love how you said that this song is sophisticated and I totally agree. There's just smth about it that is sophisticated and getting mesmerized by it. And the color palettes, the three colors, it's a nice observation since the lyrics is about moving on and your explanation kinda fits the lyrics.
