(G)I-DLE became my favorite group in k-pop so fast after their debut that it gave me whiplash. They're really putting their stamp on the industry and there's so much to check out in that regard. I'm always so excited to see what they do next because they've never had a comeback that isn't well thought out imo Soyeon's full of ideas, she's so fucking creative and not afraid to break boundaries which you will see a lot of. The girl you kept saying was gorgeous was Shuhua, the youngest. She doesn't have as many lines as the others, but I'm so glad she still stood out to you! She is, indeed, gorgeous and such a talented dancer and she always gives us The Visuals.
Some info about HANN: -Their first digital single release after their 1st album and debut. With the release of their 4th album, Soyeon explained that for this is actually a trilogy song/story. She said that in order to follow it, you should listen to HANN (Alone) >> HANN (Alone in Winter) >> HWAA. -Soyeon wanted a song with a one-word title and came up with HANN which can mean "one or by oneself" leading to "ALONE". -The story is about their love being betrayed by someone, and they are being strong saying "I will forget you". -You are right about the mourning since black veil and clothing represents someone's death, thus it is the death of that someone from their heart and mind. The barren desert and forgotten ruins also connects to this. A dead tree can mean no life or hope. While the colorful scene and oasis represents life and hope. You also noticed the flower blooming in the desert. -It is said that the scorpion is that someone who betrayed and hurt them. They tried to be close to it so much only to sting them. BUT this is knowing that it is in the nature of the scorpion to sting, and yet they still wanted to touch it. They braved that pain by licking the wound and capturing it. You can see that they even captured the scorpion in a glass jar (which I can explain once you watched the trilogy). ~~some fun facts~~ -The scorpion in indeed real! Soyeon was really trying to poke it and it was too aggressive during the shoot. She and the staff were so scared, but when the music started she went all professional mode. Yuqi is scared of it too even though it's inside the jar. -The whistle is actually done by Minnie. If you hear a whistle in an IDLE song, that's her. -Red hair Soojin is iconic. Their choreo vid for this is amazing. -SHUHUA, the pretty one you want the most, is indeed the face of the group. She's so damn beautiful that even Soyeon said that she is "PURE BEAUTY". And she is the real inspiration of the trilogy song since she resembles a strong female protagonist according to Soyeon. -Soyeon actually have bangs on their white dress scenes, but it was too quick and few to notice

I think one of the reason this song became somewhat ‘underrated’ title track of theirs was the fact that it’s pretty old song (their first comeback ever) combined with the nature of the song that rather melancholic. We still see latata or uh oh performed a lot these days but not Hann, since probably it doesn’t excite audience that much. Thank you for reacting to this though, this probably still the title track I cherished the most. All the newer songs are good too, but this still holds the place as my favourite.
