That would be an absolute mess, considering how some characters like Kirby, Sonic or Palutena are pretty much gods, whereas others like Duck Hunt or Villager are as regular as an individual can get, but I’d love it anyway.

You know what the funny thing is? When I had just gotten both Amiibos I told myself they were two different Bayonettas from different timelines because that would follow the precedent established by the first game (little Cereza being a different version of her). When it actually came to be in canon, I felt like Kamiya stole my idea somehow lol.
@@jayguero2123 bayo in 2 is the same bayo from 1. Nothing said they weren't in 3. Rodins bio backs that up. The character bios comparing all the bayos compare them to color my world bayo with that ones perspective in mind Bayo 3 is a completely different bayo.
@@drewhaynes1874 truthfully, I haven’t gotten to the end of 3 yet (although I’m very close to completing all the chapters; I wanted to savor my $60 experience) but I’m basing my presumption on the shitty people who post spoilers in their thumbnails (where I saw one that explicitly showed all 3 Bayonettas in one shot) and the fact I had immediate access to Love is Blue and Scarborough Fair once I beat the first chapter. The bios read that both sets of pistols are from different universes. But once I’m done with the game fully and see the ending myself, I’ll get back to you on that.
Man this still makes me wish you swapped over to Bayo 2 mid-fight and it had the switch to tomorrow is mine for the second half of that fight section. NieR Automata did it in their final battle, so it's not like Platinum hasn't done it before. Eh.
Nier Automata gave you the choice of who you wanted to play as in the final battle, but they didn't allow you to swap between the two characters mid fight. Once you made your choice, it was final. The swapping characters thing that happened prior was only after prolonged story sections, and both characters were separated from each other at that point in time. So I'm not really sure what you mean here.
I need a smash gamemode that lets fighters use their canonical full potential.
