The graphics are so pixelated in the photo mode and it looks worse than the in game graphics. I’m not sure if I’m missing any setting.

For those worrying that the gameplay might become too much "puppet mastery" with Bayonetta, as you can use the demons for a long while (i know i was worried about it), it really depends on you, you can just keep controling the demons for extended periods of time, OR you can decide to quickly summon them, pop 2 commands and then release the button and keep playing on your own while the demon finishes the attacks, wich is actually pretty effective! You can also use "flash attacks" in wich you simply press the summon button at the end of the combo so they come deliver a big blow at the end (kinda replicating how it worked on Bayo 2 when umbran climax was on). So don't worry too much about it, but do experiment a little with what i said, because i seen a lot of gameplay of people not figuring that out and just controlling the demons a long while.

...My favorite Platinum Games title (and what I think is their best work IMO) is Astral Chain. In point-of-fact, it may arguably be one of the best titles in the Switch's entire library.
-Sylvia Earle, 1995 “on balance, if I had to choose the most interesting and important time in all of human history to live, it would be now. As never before, and perhaps as never again, the choices made in the near future will determine mankind's success, or lack of it. These are the "good old days" sure to be envied by those in the future.”
Chaotic and hard to follow is right. It’s just one thing about these games that I could never really enjoy. It’s probably the epitome of a button masher. Honestly, I can probably close my eyes and play through most of the combat sections just by mashing the attack and dodge button with headphones on.
If I may ask why is skill roof being to high a con? With games like this being a bit less long then other AAA the point is to master the combat just look dmc with the style ranking?
Absolutely love this game. If I had anything to gripe about it would be the enemies. They are just kinda bland and boring. There is an option in the beginning to turn gore on and off but I would hardly consider the green goo gore in the first place. I felt like Nintendo sneakily pushed for the Homunculi for that very reason.
Kamiya himself (who cares little about confidentiality issues) has confirmed that Nintendo never meddles in the development of Bayonetta, and blood does not always have to be red, in many games like Halo or TW there are enemies that have the blood of others colors, that the blood of the homunculi is green is only by creative decision to represent that they are something alien to the world of Bayonetta
@@Lu.- This wasn't a huge gripe I had just my only criticism. Not as much about the gore as it is the blandness of the enemies. The anges and demons just had more diverse designs and felt more realistic and interesting. When fighting the next big humunculi it just felt like a slightly different shape of the same thing
I appreciated how early you were able to get some of the accessories without replaying a level 3+ times. That said, I'm the clown that played most of the game with Gaze of Despair on, and my score got murdered for it.
My only real complaint about the game overall is how the story went. Everything feels like a build up to pass the torch to Viola and i HATED IT. I think i speak for most of the playerbase that nobody is buying a ''Bayonetta'' game without the actual Bayonetta being the center of attention, and its so sad that this game feels like a farewell to that in more ways than one. Aside from that, Bayo 3 is a fun and creative explosion with so much charm and many new and nice mechanics that improve the combat system, however i also feel theres limitations due to hardware. Id pray for them to either remaster this on PC one day or at the very least release DLC to add more content that was cut from the past entries such as Jeanne being fully playable and her costumes.
Glad to see some reviewer who have open mind with the game. I see some other reviewer just spend a little time in the early stage of the game and judgement the whole game being bad. Seem like they dont have time to play game for a fair review, they just want the attention as fast as possible 🤮

All I can say is that after this game I'm wary of what Bayonetta 4 will be
Same!!
I'm so behind on Platinum games. I still need to beat The Wonderful 101, Nier Automata, Astral Chain and now Bayonetta 3
So this is Platinums' DMC5, good to know. 👍🏼
👌🏼
...My favorite Platinum Games title (and what I think is their best work IMO) is Astral Chain. In point-of-fact, it may arguably be one of the best titles in the Switch's entire library.
we need the next switch asap
We don't need anything asap, you need a degree, job and girlfriend though
@@Abner_Aharoni how do you know they don't already have those things?
@@Abner_Aharoni i can tell that you dont have any of that
@@Abner_Aharoni you need a hobby
@@Abner_Aharoni how do we know you don’t also need those?
Just buy it! Yes its held back but we couldnt ask for a developer more familiar with the hardware.. plays fantastic, looks great, intense!
Jake Baldino refused to voice this review having been only offered a free copy of the game.
💀
My top gaming channels are Gameranx and PlayStation Grenade. But Gameranx is best of all.
too bad its not on pc :/
😞
It is if you play it on Yuzu, the Switch emulator. Although I don't know how well Yuzu will run this game....
I love the series
I'm about 3 chapters in I think on 3. Tbh I'm happy Enzo has his personality back compared to Bayonetta 2

“on balance, if I had to choose the most interesting and important time in all of human history to live, it would be now. As never before, and perhaps as never again, the choices made in the near future will determine mankind's success, or lack of it. These are the "good old days" sure to be envied by those in the future.”
Metal Gear Rising and Bayonetta and Astral Chain are awesome.
👍🏼👌🏼
Chaotic and hard to follow is right. It’s just one thing about these games that I could never really enjoy. It’s probably the epitome of a button masher. Honestly, I can probably close my eyes and play through most of the combat sections just by mashing the attack and dodge button with headphones on.
Falcon was the right pick for this review he just gets these types of games.
Got Bayonetta last year I think. Just got Bayonetta 3 for Christmas! I’m enjoying it so far.
I felt that buying feeling that was worth it. Really this game has brought considerable improvements to the franchise!
I'd hate to be that guy, but I couldn't stop looking at the Glutes lol 10/10 game
I see NOTHING WRONG with the Graphics People are just BUT HERT because the game is NOT ON other platforms.
Recently bought the first game on my Xbox but haven't started it yet
I'm a little surprised you didn't at least mention the voice actor controversy.
Just finished 2 a few days ago and just started 3 and I can say the graphics are waaay better, and the game is much better too imo.
I didn't even consider buying this, bc i haven't played a bayonetta game. Definitely can't wait for my next pay now.
Falcons reviews are the only ones I trust he’s the only one who isn’t so biased or has a shitty take 🙌🏼
Video 65 of asking if you could do a before you buy on midnight fight express
But your straight now!! No mention of that?? Good job m8.
Just bought it just now, looking forward to play it and loving it!!😆
Glad to see some reviewer who have open mind with the game. I see some other reviewer just spend a little time in the early stage of the game and judgement the whole game being bad. Seem like they dont have time to play game for a fair review, they just want the attention as fast as possible 🤮
Man, I love gameranx.
Heard falcons voice though it was going be a negative review glad it's not
