Why don't you update the 7 inch touch screen? it looks so old that it looks like you bought a car from years ago. Leave the lights like this but update the touch screen. And put aluminum wheels on the LE model and watch sales skyrocket. Almost all SUVs have so bigger screens for the same price. Come on Toyota!
Toyota doesn’t jump on the “this is what everyone else is doing bandwagon and let’s throw this on.” Toyota evolves models slowly as components prove their endurance. I have a 2018 Tundra, many parts are proven performers that were on my 2008 Tundra I had for over 10 years with no issues I had to pay for. The only issue on it was at about 5&1/2 years, 2&1/2 years out of warranty. The air side of the fuel injection failed and needed a rebuild. Toyota paid for the repair and paid for my rental car for 4 weeks until parts could be acquired and installed. No it does not have the latest and greatest fad items, but it runs forever with no issues.
I do warranty work at a Tier 1 automotive supplier. I daily review warranty claims from the other automakers and see new vehicles less then 6 months old with over a dozen warranty claims. Then at the end of my day I climb in my 4 year old Toyota and drive with no worries other then when is my next scheduled service.
I’ll take reliability over kewl any day.

Just picked up my RAV4 XSE Hybrid last Friday. It’s packed with extras, sporty, beautiful styling, fast, comfortable and I’m averaging 43.5 MPG. This is my sixth Toyota.

Just bought my 2nd Rav4. 2022 Le. It's a pretty basic model, but it's fun. I really miss the sunroof/moonroof my 2007 had. I also wish it had the outlet in the back. It came in super handy for plug in coolers and blowing up things while camping.
I may upgrade in a year or two.

Love my 2022 Rav4 TRD. I did notice an issue with the fuel tank, I cannot fill it up all the way. I have taken it to the dealer and they said they cannot help. I will try to calibrate the fuel gauge myself tomorrow. SO far MPG is as advertised, but full tank my range is 255 miles. When I reach half a tank, I have just over 100 miles of range. Definitely something wrong with the car, but I cannot find a dealer to help. I still love this RAV4, it handles very well in the city, comfortable and stylish.

the issue in my area is that all the rav4's have $5k worth of pointless options/packages tacked on, so they're nowhere near msrp

I've had my 22 xse hybrid with tech package, jbl, and pano glass for almost two weeks now. Siver sky mettalic. Still on the 1st tank of gas which is very nice these days. Loving it and I know it is going to last me a long time. If I want to keep it for the long run would you recommend 1st oil change at 1k?
That’ll be a waste of time/money, get the 1st oil change when you reach 5,000-7,000 miles, the new Toyota’s tell you when it’s required

@@bryanschannel4212 he says because there are tiny particles of metal in the engine from manufacturing and its best to get them out after the new engine break in period which is typically 500-1,000 miles. Probably being over cautious though, it's my 1st brand new car.

Dealer was charging me almost 2800 more than msrp. They were adding accessories called valpro360 which I didn’t want but sales person told me it’s mandate. Went to Honda dealer they didn’t had any mandated accessories.
That’s a problem with the dealer you went to… not Toyota or this car lol

I love the new adventure design, but i hope the next Rav4 will have more premium interior design for higher trims, or all together revamped with more premium interior, and adventure models or offroad models with adventure designed interior.

Coffee cup holder is an issue in RAV4. On my rental, I had to buy tall cups now, regular coffee cups sink in and hard to pull out. I wonder if Toyota sells booster of cup holders.

Highlander is luxury Toyota SUV if you have a large family like 6-8 I will say get highlander but if you are single or you have small family size like 4-5 I encourage you RAVE4 XLE PREMIUM

Problems:
1) Major - Headrest angled too far forward. Tall drivers can expect neck and shoulder pain on any drive over 2 hours. The only available work around (completely reversing the head protector) defeats the purpose of the head/neck protector.
2) Major - Keyless start button fails to warn drivers if they walk away from a running vehicle. It would be a trivial change for the system to beep aggressively if the drivers seatbelt is off while the front door is opened when the engine is running. Add to this the lack of engine noise when the car is in ECO mode and you are asking for the car to be taken on a joy ride. Is the driver open to an attractive nuisance lawsuit if a 12 year old kills himself or someone else because of this easily mitigated oversight?
3) Minor - Lane departure assistance is not reliable enough to use. Most drivers should expect dozens of false positives (at least) for any true unintentional lane departure warning. "Assistance" in these cases is more than annoying. At least LDA can be easily turned off.
4) Minor - Android Auto requires a USB cable instead of using Bluetooth. Perhaps Toyota is reserving Bluetooth for it's native apps, but anyone wanting to stream music from their phone or use Google Maps will need to attach their phone with a USB cable. This is not just annoying. It also increases the odds of accidentally leaving your phone in the car.

We went to Lincolnwood Chicago and horrible experience
There were selling by their own Black-market price .
Now we are dealing Honda and they promised the price in website is similar to the dealer, not like Lincolnwood Chicago with 10000 over priced Black-market price.

I bought a 2022 LE and unfortunately it has a naked roof. I can't put my canoe or kayak on it. I'm kind of regretting my purchase now. The salesman called me and said Toyota is coming out with a roof rack that can be clamped on to a bare roof. Any confirmation? DON'T BUY ONE IF YOU PLAN ON CARRYING A KAYAK OR CANOE. You're better off with a Subaru.
