- Here's TPC's video Advent Calendar 2024, revealing door No. 23 for December 23rd:
Dealing with disk images to recreate floppy disks can be time consuming. Using FAKEDISK on DOS, one can mount the disk images to RAM, and access it directly via the well-known A: drive letter.
This can also be used to extract the files and conduct a direct software installation routine, without needing to create the floppy disks in most cases.
