I just wanted to say that this is one of my most favorite TH-cam channels ever. Ever ever. No obnoxious loud people or editing effects all up in my face. Perfect pacing. Readable descriptions or just getting to see someone (your spouse in this case i assume?) take a bite and footage/audio clear enough to understand what the dish is like well enough to live vicariously whenever I don’t have the money or energy to try these things for myself. Your videos are always peacefully atmospheric and entertaining, and I bet you’re both cool people to be around irl. I say so because i feel like ive comfort bonded with your content this last year or so, as I find myself here anytime i am in need of peace, freshness, or am heavily sensory seeking. Thanks for everything!
They are both woman and just friends, if you're asking where my source is, it's in the replies to a comment in one of their other videos saying they aren't married just friends enjoying a meal, forgot which video thought.
I used to go to one in Berkeley California and they had the hot pot and the barbecue grill. It was awesome. Fish, seafood, beef, veggies, anything else you could imagine. Delicious and fun. A great experience. P. S. First we'd go to the Chinese hot tubs down the street. Sweat out an apatite and go eat. Great birthday or holiday treat...
Greetings. Thank you for sharing yet again another amazing food episode. I really like that you leave the background sound and that you use subtitles to explain. It would be odd trying to eat and describe what you are eating. It would interrupt your own gourmet experience. Hearing the ambience sound makes me feel as if I was there 😊 I missed Mrs. Bacon's stamp of approval, and yet, sometimes we can't have everything we like or want. Wishing both to continue flourishing, prospering, sharing and enjoying life. 🙏 PS: I also truly appreciate that you take us in your adventures, whether at the street markets, or expensive locations. I don't know if I would ever go all the way to Taiwan, Singapore, and Japan, etc. I live in California, USA. Watching your videos at least provides me with an outlet to learn about different gastronomies and cultures. Keep up with the good work.
Love the Hot Pot. Love the Wagyu! Long time fan! Thank you for always being there, I made my channel after watching yours. I had a few subscribers at first but slowly building. Thank you for those showing their support!
Ngl I was having some anxiety over the staff preparing the meat with the deli slicer... But it looks really good. Wonder about the lemon broth, is it the typical dashi with lemons thrown in or something else entirely?
Always watching you this looks like such fun, a few months ago they opened a hot pot resturant near me. It is a hot pot and bbq at the table and the food is all raw but buffet, you pick what you want and take what you want, they had so much stuff, it was fun and good
Again you guys bring magic, honestly i adore these videos just for the sheer ambiance this has. The slicing of the meat, the tranquility of just sharing a meal with a friend…ma this is what I call amazing content in my opinion
@@aftersexhighfives Sounds like you need the Aged Steak Man, Guga, to help you whip up a good old piece, lol. Some of those he's done look way too good.
@@fireradfieritis8953 It gets a blue cheese taste. If you like blue cheese you will like aged steak. If like me and my husband you will be disappointed the texture is so awesome when the taste is so cheesy.
@@fireradfieritis8953 food festivals are the best place to try a lot of foods, not sure if there's a beef one. But might be worth looking to see if there is something like that. Thanks for helping me get over a really nasty bout of food poisoning - I've been too nauseous to eat anything for like 2 days and after watching your videos I'm ready to devour an entire steak house 😂 Cheers!
for $30 this is INSANELY affordable, especially for Wagyu. really cool you are able to get this, a meal like this i could see easily costing over $50 in the States
I absolutely love hotpot, but the fact that you said theres some that are under $10 is nuts! Theres only one good hotpot restaurant around me, and its about the same price as the meal you had, but its also all you can eat and has a conveyer belt around the entire restaurant with veggies, noodles, and dumplings. All family owned. Also im the kind of heathen who pours their sauce into their broth , which i know is basically sacrilege in countries like this 😅
This comment of mine is not intended to be racist whatsoever. I have noticed some Asian You Tubers with food channels, that consistently ask the buffet carvers for the fattiest cuts of beef. Don't get me wrong, I love Japanese food followed byThai food and Chinese food a distant third. That saism I have never cared for eating a piece of meat that was 50% fat. Everyone has their own taste buds. The food at Shabuwara looked mouth watering good, fat and all.
I’ve just got out of hospital, but before I left, I got the nurses watching some of your videos so now they’re hooked!
A speedy recovery to you friend!
@@bunbunscorner thank you. ❤️

The cutting portion was very relaxing to watch tbh
As someone who has operated a slicer like that it was terrifying seeing his hand that close to the blade haha
I’m surprised you found that relaxing because I was PANICKING for that guy the entire time LOL

There are hot pot restaurants in the US, but they don’t serve Wagyu beef.
Don't do it.

Hey Dancing bacon is TH-cam your primary income source? I mean how do you guys afford to travel and eat at expensive restaurants nearly every week?
I prefer dipping my cooked meat in raw egg and soy but maybe that’s the Chinese way
