Amazing village life of Bodoland || Bodo traditional foods and beliefs

When we hear the name Bodoland, a lot of negative thoughts come to our mind and we think this place is unsafe. However, the real picture is completely different and you will get to know about this in my #BodolandSeries.
Bodoland, officially the Bodoland Territorial Region, is an autonomous region in Assam. It is made up of four districts, Kokrajhar, Baksa, Chirang, and Udalguri. During my visit, I got a chance to see the village life of Bodoland in Baksa district.

Bathou is combination of of two words Ba(five) + Gathou(deep)…literally means very deep and powerful five senses of nature. And that liquid used for Onla curry is alkaline …I think ours is the only community that prepares curry with Alkaline otherwise all our curries are acidic in nature
