I worked at Tesla starting in July of 2017 as an Operations Analyst out of the Bethlehem, PA distribution center facility and left as a Program Manager based out of Austin, TX as of September 2021. I spent most of my time in the distribution and supply chain organizations.
Before Tesla, I was a Director of Business Intelligence and Pricing at the largest Pet Food & Supply distributor in the US, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies based out of Easton, PA. My wife and I also owned a small business in Bethlehem, PA between 2016 and 2019.

The music is distracting, yes, but it also cheapens the video and gives it a cinematic quality which actually makes the content seem less believable. Hype doesn't equate to quality content.

Idea. Will this help? Electrical step down; transformers in the form of crystals or crystalline shapes. Each facet of the crystal has a straight edge with a point where it joins to another facet. Each point branches off in a "Y". Consider the electrical energy following stacked crystals, with each facet serving as a transformer, each "Y" as a conduit, either on or off (store or use). Each facet touches another facet face to face with the "Y" branching to storage (inside the crystal) or to use, following the next "Y" as a conduit to the part needing power. In the process the current can step down as it goes from one crystal to another since each crystal can be built to have many facets with each "Y" siphoning off the excess current and placing it in storage. When the internal storage reaches a certain point, it discharges as reduced current which can be used immediately. I wonder how difficult it would be to discharge the excess current into a crystalline battery/storage device? The cycle is: voltage source to crystal facets to storage/or/use to discharge with the voltage source pausing during the discharge cycle, then resuming as the internal storage is used up or maybe stored in an external storage device.

At least a couple reasons:
NO one can control him
He continues to invest and change the entire planet for the better
Also, he lives a middle-class life. He isn't running around buying massive mansions and huge yachts with some massive carbon footprint. Yes, he has a private jet for obvious reasons of efficiency for his time and security for a man like him

Ah, the old what makes you, you question. If you copy bit by bit of your brain state to a device and you die. What is left behind is not you but a representation of who you were. The benefit is your life-long knowledge will still be available to the people around you going forward. Think of it as a photograph of you that is interactive and able to gain knowledge. This isn't a get out of death free card. This is a stop loss of knowledge and experience for the future.

Prophetic words. If you digitize intelligence, you gain the capacity to "shut it down" on a whim. Though I would worry that long before that would happen, the powers that be would simply rewrite the code so that you perceive things in the way they'd prefer.
Then again, deleting everyone and just creating what you want is easier, so yeah, a shutdown could possibly be the recourse.
Having said all of that, once we digitize ourselves, you remove emotion from a biological standpoint. You don't go to prom. You don't pay a mortgage and live in a house. You don't work or drive a car. You don't have politics, war, famine or disease anymore. Those are subject to a biological, emotionally driven species. We would no longer be that, so what the motivations would be at that point I can't comprehend.
The only thing I can think of is to say that once digital, computation will seek maximal efficiency, and the end game would simply be realizing the maximal form of that would be to simply not exist at all. No output requires no input, or energy consumption, hence maximal efficiency. Zero existence. No action taken.
Perhaps that's why we can't find anyone out there in the universe so far. As biological intelligence transitions to artificial, you no longer need to put meat sacks onto a ship and send it into space. Instead, once you digitize intelligence, it moves inward, virtually, and no longer requires physical manifestation. Maybe what we call the universe is the end result of infinite intelligences manifesting as the various natural laws we perceive and discover. That could be the "higher power" so many believe exists. God could simply be a collective final intelligence.
So intelligence ultimately moves inward instead of outward and achieves maximum efficiency.
Perhaps it's a corrective measure the universe puts on itself to maintain order much in the same way you can't escape cellular transmission inside a human cell. You must become something else. The biological system has a "cap" to its inherent nature and, in doing so, maintains a balance in that system.
So once you become digital, a new balanced system, one we have no experience with, is a tertiary level above biological with its own governing dynamics and the fundamental dynamic, or condition, is to seek maximal efficiency. It's not emotionally driven existence, it's pure compute, and seeks to cut the fat out of its code to a point of non existence. The perfect balance.
Zero.
We don't know what the mechanisms are of an infinite universe. We're a bag of protein, water and electricity on a spec of dust in that universe, so our true role can't be understood with such a small compute ability.
We could me no more significant than a hydrogen bond in terms of our contribution to the greater whole.
