Watch the lorry hill video about Halle Berry. She has naturally beautiful features, but she has had plastic surgery and injectables in order to look exactly this way. It is important we start dismantling our concept about aging and what can and can't be done to mitigate its effects - it is entirely unrealistic to think she just never aged. She did and absolutely had certain procedures done to counteracts its effects. There is no such thing as perfect and it's important we realize and educate ourselves on this. She is completely stunning, I agree though!

That’s what we (the Black community) called her cut. It was iconic for us back then and to this day. So many black women had that cut back then, including me. You could walk into any Black beauty salon and ask for “a Halle Berry” and the stylist would hook you up. 🤎

The 'Halle berry' was the name for that cut in the black community easily on par with the popularity of 'the Rachel' (J. Aniston) haircut... I love so much in this but especially the fact that she called out her own hair cut knowing that is wtf we all have called it since she came out wearing it in the 90s! That in itself is beyond iconic. When ever we say "halle berry haircut" its universal that all black people know exactly the look you mean! And honestly, all people at this point should know. @@sonyamonroe9216 She's mixed with African American, and most African Americans themselves are historically mixed, so mentioning she's mixed doesn't exactly discount her as being African American. That being said, the original poster talked about the role of Dorothy Dandridge she portrayed, who was an actress (also mixed and half African American) who experienced enormous amounts of prejudice and racism during her era and career as a black women, which I'm assuming is why the original poster mentioned he wasn't African American, but could still see Halle's powerful connection to the role.
She is so beautiful, humble and kind. Mature and sophisticated but still so young and playful with her giggle and her respect for the industry. I love how positive she is, I just adore her. What a great role model.

Loved her since I first saw her in Swordfish. She seems cool, mellow, quietly intelligent and an utterly nice person. She wears her beauty so effortlessly. I loved her in Catwoman because she exuded such a charming and endearing aura. Didn’t know she won a “Miss World” title at 19. Such an awesome lady and a superb actress.
She as catwoman was my favorite character that I admired for the first time ever when I was a kid, so it's very nostalgic and recomforting that she really loved her character too

That Oscar dress was unbelievable. It was unusual for that time, but also, it fit her so well. I remember watching that year's Oscars on telly and I was blown away. I'm having trouble remembering a better Oscar's gown
Loved the story about Dorothy Dandridge! Much respect. Also loved that Halle didn’t make anything really about her, but her career. You can tell that she feels really grateful for her success, and sees herself as a piece of human history and not just some celebrity icon. Love to see it!

I remember precisely when Halle won the Golden Globe because I was actually giving birth to my daughter. It was such a special moment in black history. I remember my mother bringing me the news paper the next morning in the hospital because I couldn't see this magical moment on tv. I actually cried tears of joy & said "Halle, You Did It"! I also saved that news paper and placed it inside of my baby girl's time capsule that she could also share in the joy once she was 18❤️ So proud for her & us!!

Halle has the MOST youthful spirit of any person I've ever heard in an interview. It is absolutely no wonder that she has such a level of transcendent inner beauty that you can see it through her acting which in turn keeps her looking soooo astoundingly beautiful on the outside. She is a true icon. I love all of her acting roles.
