Hope I might have a chance to shake your hand one day to personally testify to you my appreciation Sir
It is phenomenal that I have discovered you. I owe a lot of thanks to all things leading to this discovery. What is the necessity? Why? What an exciting journey it has become to finding out.
I couldn't be more sorry I didn't find out about this man and his work years ago. I am even more sorry to hear that he is now very sick and that how long he'll be able to do his noble work depends on how his illness progresses. I feel like I have already missed too much of what he had to give and gave to people around the world that I cannot accept the fact I will not have enough time to make up for it by having him present in my life, on daily basis now. I feel I could have made my life more worth living instead of feeling I had to live it, with all the suffering and self-tormenting for the mistakes I made and didn't have to if only I knew there were other ways... Mr. Peterson, I am with you with all my heart and soul, I will be hoping that you will get better and I will never accept the fact that your illness will incapacitate you in your conquest. I will never stop believing your briliant mind will remain intact, that all the suffering that illnesses may bring will somehow fail to get you and that you'd stay with us keeping your existence in this world so precious and priceless for all of us who got lucky enough to learn from you, just like you have been doing for years now, for many more years to come. Thank you, Sir. May the universe keep you safe and send you back at least as much goodness and wisdom, as you have sent out to it.
This is one of my favorite channels and largely because of your humility, simple and authentic nature. Your interview technique is so thoughtful and respectful. You are doing great great service with what you are doing here.😊
I love that you so quickly said illness or loss can throw a person sideways into hopelessness loss of confidence in the or just plain turning away from life. I felt you understand. I discovered that 40 years ago when my 33 year old husband passed. I think I've moved on but it's like I've got craters from asteroids
"craters from asteroids " that's a very good description for how one feels after a big loss like that. I can totally identify with your description of going into a tailspin after losing a loved one. I hope life is better for you now.
@@mudnocchio Yes, we must give ourselves timeframe, an expiration date, that our minds know. Respectfully, I 💯disagree! Once we know there is a date of expiration we move forward. Every season has a beginning and an end. Every single thing has an expiration date. We, as humans, do as well. It is evolving, evolution.
@Maryann we are 'individuals' who give our 'word' to join each other in matrimony until death do us apart. I learned this now too. I, have my word back because I, kept my word. So now, I must fulfill the purpose I am here for; i must move forward without him in this world. But I truly had wished I didn't have to live this part. But, he had to leave us first. I, am an individual. So are you. I am thankful God, in His infinite Grace and Mercies, showed me, that I, kept my word. So now, I will reassess my life. Continue to guide our children as I can. And support others so their perception does NOT die with their spouse. We have our life to continue to live until our time comes. And we teach ourselves to live joyful life for our own self, families, and others. Be blessed ❤🐛🦋🐝🎄
@@Dani-cg9hn I get your point about strategy, but, no, the heart feels what it feels. The Grieving never ends. There is always loss and an empty chair and a void where that person once thrived in your life. You will understand this when you lose a parent. Or a child. You can just adjust and move forward, which is your point. Yes. But the grief is always there. It presents and recesses but it never leaves. Similarly, a parent is only as happy as their saddest child. It is just how love works. We are Blended together like a cake mix that cannot be separated back out into eggs and sugar and flour. Your perspective might be a difference in personalities I'm not sure. But your point is well taken! We cannot let grief stop us from living and doing what we are here to accomplish and impact. The void leaves time and space for even greater impact than before. I have definitely had the loss of loved ones provide a space for me to accomplish more then before and often in memory of. Thanks for the comment and inspiration.

I am so thankful for this video. The vastness of the discussion is great. Jordan Peterson is a great speaker. A lot of life issues were delved into. As someone who lives with a chronic illness, I loved and found it helpful when he said "shrink your time frame, look for occasions of grace and beauty where you can find them" Also as a Parent, I found it helpful that he said we can't protect or shield our children from life's unfortunate situations all the time; we make them strong so as to transcend those issues. I agree with the opening 5 minutes. I was betrayed by a friend, it was hard and made me question my very existence, then another friend said (after a year) let it go, I said I wasn’t ready. It took a long time to figure it out but now my level of discernment with out being cold or bitter is completely at a whole other level. It’s literally changed and massively up leveled my life. It turns out to be a massive lesson for wealth and abundance. Grateful.
Life s been pure hell since about 2018 but Jordan’s discussion about his daughter around the 1hr mark really put things into perspective. With all that’s happened and some still happening my family is healthy and I’m immensely grateful for that. All these other stresses and setbacks are secondary 🧘
Jordan Peterson, we love you over here!! Jordan, you say you read the TH-cam comments. Hopefully, you read this. Try doing jiu-jitsu. It will help you physically and mentally. That's all. Thanks for everything you have contributed to society. I appreciate you!!
The fear surrounding health, lack of restorative sleep, depression. Anger, resistance, addiction... Dr. Peterson would really benefit of few sessions with dr. Mate. Childhood and generational trauma. Psychedelics taking you deep in subconscious for resolution while restoring the neuro-generative process. And hopefully something like this would solve the small conflict between the 2. Dr. Peterson, confront your ego.
I am missing something here. Are you a Psychologist or Psychiatrist? If you are a Mental Health Professional then you know better than to Diagnose and suggest Treatment for a person you have never met. It is actually Illegal.
by facing that, I am able to see through patterns back and forth. Be honest about what's in the way more than what you think you need to achieve. Thanks again greetings from the Netherlands
I can’t get enough of Jordan Petersen. I could and do listen to him night and day. If he ever mis-stepped, I would forgive him so fast it would make your head spin.
Natasha, Hi ! ☺️. Dr. J. P. said he'd had Auto - immune disease.... He followed his daughter Mikhaila's research that cured HERS, and only eats " meat , greens, and olive oil " ... I think that is a Keto type diet ? I don't know how the full range of nutrients needed can be got from that sort of content, but am going to look into it...☺️ I think Dr. Eric Berg does, or did, Keto, having had health problems......there must be lots of videos on TH-cam about it...☺️. "Cheers !" from England. ☺️🇬🇧🦉🥀🌈🐒🇨🇦☺️🇬🇧 ...

Thank you for all you do Lewis. Thank you Dr. Peterson for being fearless in the face of tyranny & for sharing you ideas with all of us. Blessings & Thanks to you both 🙏🏼
Poor health can destroy one’s confidence as Dr. Peterson describes. I sympathize with him and pray he recovers. I can’t imagine what he’s going through and will pray for him. Being rejected by the one you love destroys one’s confidence. Comparing yourself to others also destroys it. I can attest that it’s devastating. I haven’t regained mine and it’s been over a year. How does one regain a sense of self worth?

When people comment on your goals they don't necessarily see what you have in mind or the end result you are expecting and they might not have the faith that you have for it either.
Jorden, I truly appreciate so much of what you say, and I think you are on point in tremendously insightful and important ways. My only feedback is that I think you are too harsh. After a long journey in recovery, I have come to see that for most of my life I made my inner critic my Higher Power. This was largely rooted in growing up in an intensely perfectionist family that was terribly judgmental and chronically dissatisfied. To be honest, I wonder if perhaps why you are sick is that you are too harsh on yourself and others. Although I gain insights, I find it demoralizing at times when i listen to you. My Loving Higher Power that created me, and this Gangster Planet Earth, does not ever treat me with disdain or contempt for being weak and frightened and employing survival strategies that I've been exposed to throughout my life in my family, and amongst my American culture and society. I appreciate your honesty with yourself but the brutal criticism of the average person who is not driving themselves towards ever more esteem and responsibility. I don't hear a ton of compassion for folks who are sincerely dealing with massive identity crisis from never being validated, or only receiving negative attention. Do you follow the work of Gabor Maté. We are dealing with an intergenerational dysfunction/or a steep learning curve in our evolution and shame and guilt are not the way out. Thank you for sharing that you are open to the feedback in the comments. Above all else, I hope this feedback assists you in some way towards your physical healing. Being gentle, warm and accepting of oneself is the foundational and core medicine for what ails us.
Perhaps I am overstating things when i suggest that you are expressing disdain or contempt for those who are "not reaching their potential". I appreciate the way you point out that when we are not in alignment with our good conscious then of course we will be tortured from within by our better conscious. I also see this as an inner conflict and requires a lot of gentle acceptance and self-forgiveness. It's an inside job. Let's find unconditional loving peace within before trying to "reach our potential", otherwise our striving for "our potential" will likely being coming from a shaming, blaming or judgmental place. It also will likely cause us to overshoot ourselves. Like you say, created stages for your journey that re realistic. In my experience, the first stage is finding unconditional love for ourselves and others - out of that true fruit will grow.
Got an answer I needed at 1:55 👊🧡 And I'm glad to have found I lived an "ethical life"... even when I didn't understand I was. And it's not a happy feeling when you see the parts that others played in situations, but it makes you wonder what life they chose... understanding we do choose to incarnate... and you start to see this lifetime as a game of chess, with different pieces able to only make certain moves vs every one being the same. Acceptably different than the other. And that's a beautiful perspective to have when looking at others in your life. It helps with acceptance as well.
1:18:22 On the topic of walking and exercise. I understood the amount of trauma he revisioned in that quiet pause. Been there, still am.. however it is a life saver.

Stay safe and healthy! God bless!
I need to listen to this again… Thank you … very insightful!🙏🏼
You're welcome🧡
Thanks Lewis, thanks for caring about all of us.❤️
You're great the best to you we also may not agree on everything but I like your clarity and where you coming from a speedy recovery to you the world needs more people like you
I agree with the opening 5 minutes. Grateful.
I could listen to this all day! It is solid information 🙏🏼🤗
🧡
He has the best people on his show.
Thanks!
This guy is awesome. This is a clear view of life and guide posts to help humankind!!
Thank you so much for watching!
So true 🎉❤
Thanks Lewis, very much appreciated! And one of the greatest.
You're welcome, thank you for being here 🧡
Life s been pure hell since about 2018 but Jordan’s discussion about his daughter around the 1hr mark really put things into perspective. With all that’s happened and some still happening my family is healthy and I’m immensely grateful for that. All these other stresses and setbacks are secondary 🧘
Sooooo validating thank you Jordan
Just exquisite WISDOM /INSTRUCTION
LOVE from Australia

Jordan Peterson, we love you over here!! Jordan, you say you read the TH-cam comments. Hopefully, you read this. Try doing jiu-jitsu. It will help you physically and mentally. That's all. Thanks for everything you have contributed to society. I appreciate you!!
Jordan Peterson the most intelligent person in the modern world 🌎 brilliantly articulated interview 👏🏾
Spontaneously admire Jordan Peterson thank you for helping so many people.
by facing that, I am able to see through patterns back and forth. Be honest about what's in the way more than what you think you need to achieve. Thanks again greetings from the Netherlands
You're welcome, thank you for watching🧡
Thank you for this JP mash up. Such incredible content, life saving.
I can’t get enough of Jordan Petersen. I could and do listen to him night and day. If he ever mis-stepped, I would forgive him so fast it would make your head spin.

Love you JP!!!!!Wish you a speedy recovery. You helped us we will pray for you!❣❣❣❣❣
Natasha, Hi ! ☺️.
Dr. J. P. said he'd had
Auto - immune disease....
He followed his daughter Mikhaila's
research that cured HERS,
and only eats
" meat , greens,
and olive oil " ...
I think that is a Keto type diet ?
I don't know how the full range
of nutrients needed can be
got from that sort of content,
but am going to look into it...☺️
I think Dr. Eric Berg does,
or did, Keto, having had health
problems......there must
be lots of videos on TH-cam
about it...☺️.
"Cheers !" from England.

Thank you Lewis & Team, this IS one of the two interviews I've been hoping for last several years & is wonderful & enlightening.
Would it be possible to host & interview Dr. Steven Greer?
Thank you for all you do Lewis. Thank you Dr. Peterson for being fearless in the face of tyranny & for sharing you ideas with all of us. Blessings & Thanks to you both 🙏🏼
You're welcome, thank you for being here 🧡

Always a pleasure, Mr. Peterson.
I watched this till the end. It's beautiful.
Thank you for bringing us many wonderful Interviews from these masters in there class.
You're welcome, thank you for being here 🧡
Poor health can destroy one’s confidence as Dr.
All good stuff here!! Great plotting for a human existence . . to say the LEAST! Having a direction to aim. . is quite the removal of the biggest stumbling blocks whether mental or physical. . one could imagine. Really Powerful!
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to check out the interview! So glad you enjoyed it🧡
I went through an incredibly difficult time after a betrayal. Jordan helped me through 7 months of pain.
I watched everything I could that he spoke about..
I will be forever thankful for him🙏❤️
This is great! First 30 seconds gave me the answers I was looking for. Thank you 🙏🏼
You're welcome, thank you for being here 🧡
Beautiful every time.

I absolutely love this man & his honest passion for righteousness
@@sharoncruz2608 It's called Empathy and he has a heart, my x was in love with himself and NEVER cared about the harm he inflicted on me..and my son...It's been a real wake up call, I'm alone alive because Jeh God saved me..
@4:10 into the podcast I saw all I needed ro know about Dr. Peterson. As smart as he is and willing to listen like I witnessed. Lets me know exactly why he's so smart now. His ability to listen has made me more reconsider the art of listening instantly humbling me as well
Jordan's goal setting program sounds very clear, logical, and doable. I think I'll investigate it.
Your podcasts are really great. You make this look so easy. I am preparing to start one so I am so glad I have watched you. I pray I can pull it off as smoothly as you do. Thanks
You're welcome, thank you for being here 🧡
When people comment on your goals they don't necessarily see what you have in mind or the end result you are expecting and they might not have the faith that you have for it either.
Jordan Peterson is a very smart man. Louis thank you for bringing the great minds to your program.
You have to live up to your potential, otherwise there is a hole in the fabric! Good motivation!
This was His (Jordan Peterson) Best Interview ever
I have found boundaries and intentions to help me regulate🙌🏼 I need to work on my habits😅✅
💪
JP would do well to read Gabor Mate’s books. He’s very harsh and promotes dangerous parenting advice
Can't believe all these people are still floundering!! Grow up people's!
Got an answer I needed at 1:55 👊🧡
And I'm glad to have found I lived an "ethical life"... even when I didn't understand I was.
Glad you found it helpful! 🧡
Beautifully worded
Ace. Interesting, enlightening. Thank you 😊 💓 🙏
🧡
You always make people look at themselves 🎉
This is great for able bodied people. People who can show up & complete anything. This is so hard 😢💔
You’re on the front line Lewis and it’s so beneficial that you send out the messages. So helpful to me! Thx ❤️🇨🇦❤️

1:18:22 On the topic of walking and exercise. I understood the amount of trauma he revisioned in that quiet pause. Been there, still am.. however it is a life saver.
This is such a practical and APPLICABLE SESSION FROM MR PETERSON, thank you👏👏👏👍👍❤️☑️
Love Jordan and his communication of basic truths. I want to help him with his health issues!!!
I think if he dealt with his trauma his health would improve. His mental health does seem to be improving. He’s less angry and bitter
😊 Outstanding job Jordan Peterson and Lewis Howes 😊
Excellent interview.
