Wow, it's curious how I was engaged with Tekken 4 (I was 14) and even I watched some matches but missed the whole TTT scene and game.
Same with Tekken 5 and TTT2.

Exactly! Bandai Namco held a Tekken 6 Exhibition tournament where you could re-enter again when you lost. It was just some fun to promote the upcoming console release of the game. This is far from winning an official EVO Title or even winning a tournament period.

The only thing that Tekken 4 has going for it, is the music & some of the story mode stuff. Gameplay, not so much.
