no my friend, no you are not. This is honestly the most quality product boosted has released imo. For its low price compared to its siblings, this is the best one for beginning boosted riders or short distances, and even then you can use it to get to other transportation vehicles like trains or buses.
Im thinking of getting the mini s for University, as I park pretty far away, bc I dont think I'll be traveling several miles in a day. Tops probably like 1 - 1.5
x. My college campus is pretty big and riding off campus would be much easier and less worrysome for me to get the x. I also ride everywhere. not just to campus but to and from each class.
That's me right now. The buses are closed on the weekends so im thinking of getting something to go to the library on the weekends, however $750 is a hefty price tag. Although I do get it, it seems to be a quality product that is worth the price.
People keep saying the flex of the board makes it more comfortable on the longboard. Fact is your feet are right above the trucks and getting the same impact. Only time the flex benefits you is if you stand in the middle. Which would be stupid and unsafe af.
You dont stand ontop of suspension on your car yet with out it you'll need a hip replacement and you dont need tobe in the middle of the board to tell the difference
1st on any longboard you do not stand on the trucks and if you do hit a crack or bump in the road on a longboard you will definitely feel it way less. Personally I think you should ride a longboard first before you comment something like this.
@@Pattywitdafatty I have 2 longboards and a few street boards. I have not ridden since the 90's but the only difference I ever felt was taking speed bumps. In which case yes long boards help. When it comes to road vibration, your shoes matter more.
Hey, this is the IDB in the Boston seaport! I ride my Onewheel here all the time. I'd love to try a boosted before buying if you guys want to try out the OW :]
josiah thomas I heard the board is definitely breakable, it's one of my worries if I decide to buy this. You can get it fixed, but it just takes more effort and money
3:16 that annoys me so much how he is carrying it. not because I'm an elitist who is like "MALL GRAB!" but when he is holding it sideways. he is holding it so the battery and most the weight is trying to pivot out his hand. if he flipped it so the underside faced outwards the weight would lean against the arm instead of trying to fall out his hand making it easier (if you own a boosted board you know what i mean and if you dont go try it)
Well made review. People need to know, Boosted Boards are not the only high quality electric skateboards though. There are better options out there that are just not as popular for whatever reason. Maybe because of people like Casey Neistat having major bias towards them. ALSO, wear a helmet!
Buy the Mini S from BoostedUSA: boostedusa.com/?aff=4
Am I the only one who thinks the Boosted Mini is the best version of Boosted boards?

Probably one of the best reviews of the boosted board mini I have seen!
Would you recommend the mini s or the mini x for a college student on a big university?

The boosted website has a link that give you a test to determine what board u should get
yes!!! im 13 and just got one and i can ride on the street (small town) as fast as cars

I totally agree. I love my boosted mini. So portable and fun factor is huge
Every time I see the max speed of Boosted, I love my Evolve more. Kinda wish I had that controller though even though the R2 remote works well.
i know this is a 9 month old comment but this is the slowest model lol
I totally agree. Boosted mini s is so fun. More nimble is more important than a few mph faster imo

I've ridden a long board and I just bought a mini X and I'm taking that shit back and getting a stealth you 100 percent feel everything in the road.

R2 remote from evolve is the ultimate skateboard remote IMO

Is it illegal to ride the electric skateboard without wearing a hemlet in California?
Why is it that you Can’t take the boosted X battery on a plane but you can take the mini S battery on a plane?
if you are kick pushing should you have the motor engaged ?
No
What travel/storage bag was that in the video? I have been look to get one for mine and haven’t found anything I liked.
This is the bag at the end- amzn.to/2MNSuoz
How long does the battery take to charge?
WOW, 6 miles in expert on top speed? So maybe more if it's in eco mode??
Yes, potentially! But we never ride in Eco, ever
More like 3 miles just get the mini x

Ganja - Ooyy
Bought the mini x and on the first day, the belts broke
josiah thomas I heard the board is definitely breakable, it's one of my worries if I decide to buy this.
You can get it fixed, but it just takes more effort and money
@@Ari-lu5ve that's why I bought a evolution stoke it has a free 12 month warranty and has a store in Auckland to drop it off at
Do you have to learn to ride a skate board well to use this?
Nope

just let him hold his board damn
@@noodlehead2392 but its like someone using a fork to eat soup then saying its hard to eat...
This video totally answering all of my doubt!
I wonder if i should get it for college
It's perfect for a college campus
Tech We Want thanks! I'll go order it maybe next week, hopefully it arrives by my first week in school
Awesome review, appreciate it!

futuramanut examples? those reasons you’re discounting are what end up pushing Boosted to the top.
Thumbs down for no helmet
I don't usually thumb up videos, but just because that is a stupid reason to thumbs down, i am going to thumbs up to off set yours.
In America we’re stupid if we want to. Duh.

I'm going to thumbs down it to counter your thumbs up to his thumbs down.
Anon Mason i will thumb up to counter your thumb down countering his thumb up that was to off set his thumb down
less than 7 miles for 750 dollars what a joke
Swear if people don’t stop mall grabbing their boards im gonna lose it
Any board that has a 7 miles range is a joke
Why is everyone on youtube So TERRIBLE at boosted skating? ☝🏼😂
th-cam.com/video/pFsbSnZzZ4I/w-d-xo.html
No flex on any board = Deal killer. Do not buy any board that does not flex!
Seems fine to us. Already over 100 miles
If you’ve ever raced downhill longboards zero flex is what you want.
Crap
Good take!
