My thoughts exactly. It's nice that it's less expensive, but still not reasonably priced enough for me to stop riding my bike everywhere. If it was more like $450 or $500 I might consider it. I don't know why a boosted board is more expensive than say, a decent drone

I've carried a shortboard eskate around campus and it's really the only optimal way to carry it because it's so dang heavy with the batteries making it not really well balanced

(Somewhat related) I read someone's comment on reddit.The person bought a $50,000 cinema camera for filmmaking and treated it like a baby for a few months and then became like Casey with it. Who knows, maybe expensive things are just more durable than we think.
Loving the new editing style. I've been watching your videos for over 2 years now, seeing the rise and fall of new seasons. However, 368 is by far my favourite. I have no idea how you manage to balance your lifestyle and can imagine you are under a lot of pressure all of the time with managing expectations through TH-cam, being an idle/role model as well as your own personal life. You are an inspiration to me. (Not only by your impressive set of storytelling and video editing skills but also by the way you always manage to push yourself and seem to truly be fulling your life.) Keep up the incredible work, I look forward to seeing what you do in the future and am greatly anticipating 368; which I strongly believ is a great an well needed idea.

Wanted to see a side by side speed test vs the boosted board and also a durability test for Ollies when avoiding large bumps, cracks and curbs. This is important for the simple fact that these are possible capabilities that set this board apart from the original long boosted board.

I thought you were done adding anything innovative for the vlog genre, and then you come out with 368. These 368 videos have set an amazing new standard for vlogs. What's different this time is that it is not as easy to copy some of your style as before, so congrats on pushing the bar forward once again. Can't wait to see your vision you have for 368.

For the people who don’t know what mall grabbing is - it’s when you grab the skateboard by the trucks (the metal thing that holds the wheels). Mall grabbing isn’t good for the skateboard which is why you’re supposed to hold it sideways and in the middle of the deck.
Then who cares when you pay absolutely zero Fks for free swag!

Don't. Its a very biased review. This thing is dead in 20km. They don't use premium Orangatang wheels anymore and there is no innovation in it that wasn't in V1.

Just a little worried about it not have that suspension you get from the long board. Going that fast on something with no suspension seems scary as hell!
It is still a longboard, skateboards dont have those trucks and big wheels, which provide a lot of suspension.
i could very well just be extracting information from nothing here...but I *think* the back wheels have some kind of suspension system integrated into the trucks
The suspension really just adds a comfort value to it, it doesn't make anything less sketchy when your riding fast.
Extra long skateboards are harder to ride and dont go as fast and harder to control over bumps and do tricks etc . They're more dangerous than regular sized.

I love it! But I'm thinking there are gong to be more accidents using these smaller boards. I have a 2nd Gen Boosted Board and it handles smaller rocks and sticks when I'm cruising at top speed pretty well. I even went over a mango once and it handled it like a boss! I don't see the smaller board handling these things as well. Would love to know what you think Casey?

Vic Speaks that is why he is asking... and it’s a fair conclusion to make as smaller boards often handle bumps worse.
Paulo Goncalves board size matters with stability, sure you can hit the bumps the same but the way it effects your balance and moves the board depends on length.

K Soul do it! A lot of boosted riders don’t have skate board experience when they buy them. I only had like 2 years experience riding a longboard. Riding electric is so much more fun and probably a tad bit easier since there’s no licking involved.

Boostedboard is amazing. But for somebody who is living in a city where surfaces are not as smooth as in New York, it will be difficult to ride on it. I bought Evolve GT Carbon with all-terrain wheels and I have to say that in cities in Europe like Bratislava, Vienna, Prague, etc. it is a necessity to have off-road wheels :D. All those paved surfaces are not a problem anymore. I love it. You can watch my video review.
