The clearest demonstration so far of parametric masks, thank you, I have a much better understanding of these now.

An excellent tutorial of parametric masks. However, I think you have tried to include too much into a single video. The combine masks parameter could use a complete tutorial on its own as it can get very complicated and confusing as I found when I first tried to understand them. Things get further complicated when you include the mask manager as well. That said, I thank you for spending time creating this and I look forward to # 30.

Hi Berny. Thanks for the tip. Are you referring to combining masks from the drawn masks video or to combining drawn and parametric masks? A separate video on the second is forthcoming. As for the mask manager, we already discussed it briefly in the darkroom panels videos. However, looking back at that video, I can see that it can be better :).

@@RawPhotographyTutorials Please don't think I'm being critical. Masking is by far the most complex part of DT (IMO). I have carefully searched youtube and other online resources to try to get a better understanding of drawn & parametric masks combined with the use of the mask manager with its own Boolean switches and I think you have come closest to a comprehensive discourse on the subject. I'm planning to make my own tutorial to try to plug the gaps. Thanks again.
