Thanks the introduction to ver 4.2 Boris. Will download it now. I would love to know all about the Sigmoid module in relation to Filmic. Keep up the great work.
@@RawPhotographyTutorials I've been making a bit of progress - learned how to build noise profiles for my Nikon Z9, only for hanatos to tell me the profile was TOO good 😛- can't figure out how to crop yet - aspect ratio isn't documented. Completely lost with white balancing, and other basics.

You're welcome Kim! - Hal ;)
Are you considring an introduction to vkdt, now there is a release?
That's a great idea. I haven't used it yet. Have you? First impressions?
Thanks for the information on the new version. Can anyone tell me how I can transfer my library fro V4.0 to V4.2 please?
Hi Nick. You can just upgrade. darktable will automatically update your database to the latest version.
Just compiled it today - looking at the docs - not really sure where to start
Alright, that is a good new project. I will install it and have a look.
Happy new year!

I can empathize. I installed it last weekend. It feels like someone thought darktable was too user friendly and easy to use. 😀
