Neat, Complete and Can't be beat! Thank you Jeb for giving those of us without the means, money or gonads (los mucachos) to do this. You are reaching and impacting more peoples lives than you realize. Be safe & keep up the great work.
Ok wow. I was wondering when I would see the next evolution of Adventure within the human spirit and here it is... proximity wingsuit flying. truly breathtaking and majestic, you sir deserve to fly.
Hinterrugg - Schattenbach - Walenstadt. Met those crazy guys the same evening in Walenstadt. I was not sure if it still was the adrenaline or the swiss beer, but they were pretty cool and absolutely crazy! Big UP for this perfect jump!
After seeing this video about 30 times or so, I still can not get enough! This is as good as it gets. Jeb are you the first one to fly the crack? Little did I know when I started wingsuitflying years ago that the human race would be able to fly like this. WOW! Keep it up and stay alive! Who is singing? Who is your wingman? When are you coming to Honduas to fly Pico Bonito? I look at it every day and think that on day it will be done.... floatutiladotcom
@LISZTIZATION- What are you talking about no one did the jump with him ,the camera is a go-pro on his suit. I'm quite sure he uses an RC drone to follow him for the over-head shots.
Another thought comes to mind watching this and the Matterhorn jump... Wingsuits appear to have proportionally way to much aerodynamic lift at the rear of your centre of gravity. Maybe this is just appearances, but wouldn't more "wing" area around the shoulders be useful in flattening the angle?
I imagin that one could get quite intoxicated by the flight that you almost have to force yourself to remember to pull the rip cord at an acceptable altitude. I mean, if it were me, I might forget to hit the silk until I was too close! Wonderful vidos Jeb. Thanks! ... and be careful!!
the whole video was great. something small that I liked; the grass area with wildflowers where you took off was the best! Seemed like a dream world. Wow, I suppose your crew figured out the drop and distance and figured that site would be perfect for flying that crack? I'm not a base jumper or any jumper of course. Just a remote observer. Cool stuff man. yeah, I saw you on morning news, so looked you up. btw, this music is fine IMO. But I do prefer heavy music.
What is stability about the roll axis like? Would the suit not benefit from more wing area and a vertical stabilizer of sorts? Looked slightly "fluttery" at moments in the crack although it is obvious you know exactly what you are doing and where you are going. It's a pity human arms are only so long and so strong... great vid and great choice of music...
and i,m just going around posting commets on youtube vids and as far as you go Jeb you have impressed me so much i,ll stop perfect strangers on the street to show them this amazing mo fo flying thru the air like the cape crusader on my phone . You and peaple like you have proven man can do anything iff he puts his mind to it, but shit brother you did cut that way way to close. number one i want to see you live to be and old man talikin about all the cool shit youve done and
What goes into preparing for a jump like this? Do you simulate glide paths to know for sure as you approach the crack for the first time that you will have the altitude?
Jeb I liked this video, but loved the most recent one with AWOLNATION on the soundtrack. Everyone did an outstanding job! Question; how far in kilometers or miles did you cover from the jump point until touchdown?
Which one is more amazing. Jeb Corliss flying the crack, or the fact that Jeb is tailed by a camera flyer who seems to be able to maintain his/hers altitude better?
How much practice/training would it take to do this? Also, how much money in equipment and that stuff? I'm planning to do it when I have enough money to afford the trip to Switzerland, the gear and the training (and when I gather up the guts you need, too). F***ing amazing. Can find words to descrive it when i watch it; can't imagine when you actually do it.
You should put some reflective strips on the front of your helmet to get a reverse angle in your shots. You can almost see the effect I'm talking about in your helmets reflection already. AMAZING FOOTAGE THOUGH!
you have to understand a lot of people who wingsuit with liitle to know experience find out locations where jeb jumps and mimic him, a lot of people died jumping those spots. So it makes since that invaders must die is the choice for the video, it sounds negative but theres meaning in it.
HAH! Zack Hemsey - Mind Heist suits this clip perfectly! BTW the dreadful buzzard, ship noise only comes when the second guy, wearing the black wingsuit, appears! haha :D
Jeb Crollis your videos are awesome, but if you could manage to make a wingsuit freefall video with Boards of Canada-Dayvan Cowboy track, you would be like the God of Wingsuit.
Just incredible. Leaves you speechless. The music is perfect.
I love this song! Thanks for reminding me of it.
Takes my breath away....Jeb, you are the man. My admiration and respect......
Breathtaking dude!

how much control do you have in the suit can you move out of the way of things fairly quickly or is it a take time manuvering and just plotting ahead
That's a heck of a way to commute to work.
