I say the railway done very well to make it COVID safe, alot of hand sanitizer stations available at key points, limited numbers in shop and loco shed at a time, gloves available if browsering readers halt, soical distance of 2 metres applied, footplates and cabs wipe down after each visit and the vintage bus gets wipe down after each run. Also we was recommending people to wear face covering as much as possible which people obeyed.
They did a fine job as far as I could see. Plastic gloves were provided both in the shop and readers bookstalls. Sanitisers too and people seemed to keep a good distance apart. The toilets were one person only in at a time. It was sad that so few passengers could be carried in the bus with so many seats being taped off to maintain the two meter distancing. You can understand the problems with making a profit from running trains with these restrictions.
@@barleyvalengaugemodelrailw3694 It is best to have a pre-booked reserve ticket - it could be busier today but you may well get in next Saturday or Sunday. It may be a good idea to ring first.
Look at that Val has a posh mask , Nice one Mike , i could feel the excitement in your shoes . Clive
It was a good experience filling a large gap in steam railway experience this year!
