Great looking young Racers.
thanks a lot!
Hey first i would like to say. It's good to see that alot of brothers are getting in to racing birds. I'm 66 yrs old when i started in the 70's. All the brothers had rollers me to.
I live in Germany been here 43 years, racing birds for 33 years. To slow the moult down darken your young bird section. That's how we do it here. Look in U tube about the dark system for Yb's
Yes sir!!! Thank you. I wish I would have known about the spot when I was a kid I’m in love with it!
Thanks for the video.
Keep it up and enjoy the hobby
Thanks a lot!!
Nice man!! Good luck this year!
Thanks a lot! Good luck to you too bro
nice birds!
Thanks a lot
Keep it up man. Hope you do good in all of the races. Good luck!
Thanks a lot buddy! Good luck to you as well
Word of caution…Be careful if you don’t place your antenna right before the entrance of your loft, your results can be disqualified.
Thanks a lot! I did have mine right up against the trap last year
Thanks D. That explains the trapping system. I was totally confused at first... LOL. The birds you are sending to the Peach Classic are good bloodlines.. Baldwin/Tilson and James with Joe Nemelka's blood will do you well. Don't worry about them beginning to molt out. Most birds being received at this time to OLR's are starting to molt. They will be ready to go once the training starts at the OLR loft. Just make sure they have been Vaccinated for PMV at least 2 weeks prior to you shipping them and throw a 3 in 1 pill down their throats for canker and respiratory treatment/prevention.. Once they get there, they will usually be given a booster vax and put in quarantine for a week or so.. Make sure you only ship on Monday or Tuesday at the latest, that way the birds will make it there before the end of the week and can be picked up by the OLR at the PO before the weekend.. It usually takes 1 to 2 days is all, but sometimes it might be 3 depending on the Postal Service, but that's not very often. Me and Steve shipped our birds to the Martinez Classic from his home in New Jersey out here to Cali and they were there in one day. East coast to West coast in 24 hrs. Good luck with the Florida Derby, the Peach and the Black Gold OLR's. Hope you win some big $.. And good luck also with the Danza Batting cage settling pen. It should work out well for you.
Good deal! Thanks for all the info. I did vaccinate them the two week mark is Wednesday so I plan to ship out Monday. What is the name of the 3in1 pill you use and where do you get them from? Good luck to you guys too!
@@ClockStoppersRacingLoft .. That's perfect then.. It's actually a 4 in 1 pill.. It's called DAC Respiratory 4 + Tabs. You can get them from Charles Siegal & Son pigeon supply in Jeanerette, Louisiana.. I don't know if it would make it to you in time though if you are shipping this Monday.. They are very fast about shipping on the same day of ordering and usually get it out quick, however. It's only $16.50 for a bottle. One tablet per bird for 1 - 2 days is the dosage as a "preventative" for these four, Respiratory tract infections, Ornithosis, Canker (trichomoniasis) and Mucus in pigeons. This will make sure they are in good health when they arrive at the OLR loft. Look them up and give them a call bright and early in the morning and see what they can do for you. They have the best customer service around in my opinion and will do all they can to make things right.. Their Phone # is 337 - 276 - 3289
@@ausfuhrpramienjagar ahh ok cool. Sounds similar to the pills I use (Toney’s treasure tables)
@@ClockStoppersRacingLoft .. Yes, there you go then if you have Tony's Treasure Pills.. You're good to go. Pretty much the same thing.
@@ausfuhrpramienjagar got you. I’ll probably give them 2 before they ship
Goodluck broski
Thanks a lot my brother!
not good to race birds that are molting they are stressed as it is and molting weakens them so chances that they will not return just a heads up but good luck if you decide to send them
They should have plenty of time to finish the molt before the races start
Do you sell any young birds? I’m just getting started and want to put a little team together
I’m not selling anything right now still breeding for my race team
Never sent a moulting bird to race brotha.
