I believe these races are awesome, but not as beginner/rookie-friendly. Beginners may find the fees daunting and scary which may turn them away from this sport. Are there any races that offer perch/fee adjustments for beginner racers?

I’m not sure. You’ll have to check with the city. Every city has their own different ordinances.
