Very nice. This song was on the 2019 album. Tim Henson and Scott LePage provided the guitar tracks for the album version. They had been sent an early version of the song with placeholder guitars (which they replaced with their own) and a synthesised vocal track, so they did not know what the final version sounded like until they listened to the album. They have said it sounded like a Polyphia track, but with vocals and that they hoped they would be able to play it live with BABYMETAL one day. BABYMETAL arranged the FOX_FEST events in Japan for May this year and one of the bands they invited to play was Polyphia - so they finally had the chance to perform live together after a 5 year wait. Tim and Scott came back out both nights to join BABYMETAL on stage. They had already played their own set earlier in the evening - they said they had more fun doing this song and getting to watch BABYMETAL perform from right up close. They have since joined BABYMETAL on stage to do this again at a couple of festivals in Europe.

My wife and I got the VIP first entry tickets, so we were right on the front rail. Whenever I'm that close it always feels a bit surreal, like there's that person I've watched on youtube and listened to while in the car, and they're five feet away from me.
The Fonda in LA was the very first Babymetal concert in the US, that was in 2014. An article exists online, talking about how it's a very diverse crowd, here is a part of 1 such article: 1. Babymetal’s fanbase is super diverse. Sure, they’re singing in Japanese. But the venue was filled with everyone from elementary-school kids walking in holding their mom’s hand to middle-aged men along with a strong showing for your typical “metal” fan (think long hair, braided beards, lots of tattoos). White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern - everyone was represented at this show. The diversity is only getting more and more diverse. The wall of Death was probably Ijime, Dame, Zettai, which is the last song. Yes, an ambulance came, she was exhausted and performed again normally the next show. The reason it was so hot ?: part of the AC system had broken that night. (I wasn't there, I just have heard the stories)

(It's already 2pm in Tokyo, though 🤣) I witnessed this artistic play at the venue (2 times in the two-day Fox_Fest organized by BM). I was in bliss. Soothing and exquisite performance by 5 elegant figures in the center 😍. In addition, classy incorporation by our Kami Band on both sides❤. Various elements created by 3 beautiful / elegant performers and 6 instrumentalists (4 guitars in total + bass / drum) with virtuosity were mixed and sublimed into one beauty by means of something like alchemy. The actual applause at the end of the song was much much much bigger than that recorded in this video. They did it together again in Belgian festival on June 20.
Nice one! This is an amazing chill song by 2 awesome bands. I saw Babymetal a few weeks ago in DC, and yeah, they attract a very diverse range of audiences! We had little girls, teens, plenty of die-hard neckbeards, and everyone in between! haha. 🤘🦊
At the BabyMetal concert I went to, there were girls on both sides of me. The mosh pit is in front of me. I had to put my hand out to stop the people being pushed from the front to protect the girls. Thanks for your great reaction.

Tim Henson already confirmed BM will return the favor by featuring on a new Polyphia song. Honestly, they should also reach out to BM's sister group Metalverse (once they officially launch) who so far have previewed less-heavy, more 'art metal'-type songs (including swing, big band, Latin, jazz stylings) at live showcases, & who has in 18-year-old Miko Todaka a gifted lead singer who is in some ways more talented than Su-metal at the same age.
They have been handed a ready-made fan group and intrudced in an Arena at a big BabyMetal show with a real live band special made costumes not borrowed made up ones and no performing in food halls or to small audiences for them . At 16, Su was performing in Arenas and at the UK Sonisphere metal festival . How is she more talented 🤣🤘🏼🦊
