I've been using Gemini as my assistant for a few days and really appreciate the updates that have been introduced. I've also used Gemini in Google messages and I really like how it can suggest responses and actions.

I'm so happy, that they added the capability to access Gemini in messages. I like using Gemini, not as the default assistant though. Google Assistant for the win and it's better than going on the web version on mobile to use Gemini

Gemini still needs to do a read aloud and summarize this page. For now I'm still on Google Assistant because I like to read aloud feature but for some reason the Pixel 7 can't do summarize this page..
I think if google makes an aditonal ai as a filter to see if your promt would be better answered by the assistant or by gemini and just seemlesly show it to you whithin the same app

Users can interact with AI chatbot prompts to create lists or get suggestions. There are hints of Gemini integration for tablets in recent updates to the Google Search app. Gemini Nano is coming to Pixel 8. Circle to search is finally expanding to older smartphones including Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6A, Pixel 7A and some Samsung Galaxy devices. The web version of Gemini allows for more precise control of responses. Users can select a specific string of text and use a new pen icon to regenerate shorten or lengthen that particular section. Location based prompts in Gemini will now automatically launch Google Maps for navigation.
I asked my Gemini how to handle someone that forgets to pay me back. This time it was about $30 of chicken from the Chinese restaurant down the street and it gave me three Pretty good suggestions on how to deal with this.. something Google Assistant won't.
For groupchat whenever I wanna add someone to a group it creates a separate group instead of adding them to the current group why is that Are messages encrypted. Is this app safe and secure to use. If not are there any other secure messaging apps to use Is there a way to reply to a specific person in a group. Like if you only wanna respond to one person

Yea you're wrong. It took a while for me to get on board, but I'm a wildly curious person so it's been a job to use. Beyond entertainment purposes it's super helpful for work and general planning. If you are thinking how I used to think you're probably thinking it's super limited but challenge yourself to ask it to do things you think it can't do and you may be very surprised.

The way I activate is, selected the tab that say's " Add this screen" Then I hit the Mic icon saying " Read This"
I just use the dedicated reading mode

Received circle to search a couple days back on my 6a. However, I’ve turned off Gemini. I’m using Google Assistant. Much better, much faster. Works on-device for the most part too. I don’t really need the Gemini AI for anything that I do. Chat GPT voice chat works far better anyway.
