A great inspiration and fantastic result. Beautiful quote. I wonder how much the light in southern France influenced his colours. Looking at Nicolas De Stael there's a colour choice in his landscapes that have a south of France feel and he lived not far from Nice (where Matisse lived) in Antibes towards the end of his too short life. Good morning Fulton. This has been a real joy to watch. A poignant comment written by Matisse near the end of his life. I found the proccess of this print very relaxing especially as im quite poorly at the moment and dont feel like getting out of bed.
