Fun fact, sprinklers reach down a little bit with their area, so you can build a half wall above the planters, and put a platform to put it on to give you more area for more planters. Basically sets you up for 8-16 more planters per arrangement depending on how square you want it to be. Doesn't affect your lighting if you use the "small tri" roof tiles as grow lights appear to ignore those in terms of obstacle collision for reasons. I'm currently maxing out at 30 planters per single sprinkler and grow light. Not that I need that at all, but it do be happenin. Also as a general rule, 80 light 70 water meets requirements for all the plants I'm aware of so you can homogenize and do everything in one setup without having to minmax separate plots

Hi! adding to this, 1 sprinkler can water a circle of 7 ([plot]-[plot]-[plot]-[sprinkler]-[plot]-[plot]-[plot]). AND it also does penetrate to the floor under it, if its of normal height of 1 column, so you can water 2 floors with single sprinkler. Mr.Shroom guy can not use fertilizer, so do not allow him plant valuable crops. Some gear from specs like gathering gloves or harvesting sickle can boost your farming efficiency.
@@Goatfarmer03 Its not 7x7 - its a circle with diameter of 7! lower level just needs more lights, since you cant make the roof of it higher than 1 column height (i mean 1 normal column, not half). At 1 normal column height lights have 2x2 area. Sprinkler watering area is a sphere, so it may be not accurate 7x7 area for lower floor, plots on the edges may be unwatered.
Awesome vid, But you missed a huge thing when it comes to seeds & fertilizer (not all of them are about making higher rng for deviated food).... there is even a fertilizer that is used just to get more seeds...for instance I only ever need to buy or find 1 seed & use that fertilizer to end up with a huge amount & it is cheap to make with an otherwise useless plant that is called something or another but in reality is red cattails & grows in the early level areas so easy to get.
@@srosh218 it's called Breeding Boost for that one... each fertilizer will also have exactly what it does below the name & there is 4 basic ones you can learn & then a specialized one (been testing that 5th one this season & ehhh not worth it really but the Compost Bin specialization is awesome for helping with making the other 4 fertilizers).
When you get your farm fully up and running with alot of crops the best fertilizer to use is the speed boost it can turn a 12 hour crop into 5 hours and if you have your shroom guys on it that will drop it by another hour or so but you will want to have a harvest sickle and gardening gloves this will give the effect of fertilizer to your crops if you harvest by hand lol

I Was wondering, arent Growshrooms like planting any given seed everywhere ? How can you make sure hes not messin up your setup ? Exemple : i grow mushrooms and peppercorn at the same spot, what if i give him wheat seed ? Will he just eff up my mush peppercorn setup ? Great vid by the way

mine 1 irrigator + 1 grow light is able to serve 36 boxes at once. I have a base made from 5x36 boxes (180 plant boxes total) with only 5 irrigators and 5 lamps) i wish i had more, but building limits
Hi, you said in your video that 1800 seconds are 2 hours, but they are really only 30 minutes. You can quickly verify this yourself: 60 seconds is equal to one minute, so 600 seconds are 10 minutes, 600 seconds (10 minutes) times 3 is 1800 seconds (30 minutes). I hope this helps😊😊

After watching this video it seems like me making a switch board for each floor, running full UK like electric system in my base and spending over 500 Electrical parts was a bit Extra... 🤣
A little trick I do when planting a new crop and the irrigation is not at the right spot, is I set the sprinkler up of course, but also manually add water so that the plant already starts on the green and stay on the green when the sprinkler finally catches up to the number I need

rly isnt one u just have to keep farming the same spawn location over and over till u get lucky unfortunately. or... wait for a few more updates for when they release deviation fusion. will allow us to combine low level deviation duplicates together to make them better. ;)
Unless you're canning, cook to order and make use of the spoil timer on ingredients as well as the timer on the completed dish. Similar approach can be used for planting, manually plant and fertilise what you need and either fill the shroom with a generic crop like corn for oil or only use it to for harvesting. When you use vendor or rare seeds the first planting should be with the seed boosting fertiliser to avoid the need to head off and get more from RNG or another player. The rainman deviant will allow you to set a sprinkler slightly lower than the max and keep planters in that green zone, which is the important part rather than maxing it.

further down on the memetic tree u go the stronger the blueprints. the Kitchen set is the best for cooking. cost a bit more wattage to run but it unlocks the ability to cook much higher grade food recipes.
I can't figure out the water pump thing at all, does it need to connect to a barrel and purifier just to connect to a pump/sprinkler? I have my pump leading to a small pump leading to the sprinkler and it flows the wrong direction. It is powered
@@p1nkf1oyd13 the first main water pump needs to be connected to power and then go straight to the purifier. Then from the purifier u can use pumps as electrical nodes to reroute the direction but the height has to be lower that the valve on the purifier in order for the water to flow in the right direction. If u don’t care about it looking clean u can go straight from the purifier directly to your sprinklers and the flow should work automatically

in the beta i would have said both. in beta it physically would not let you use the chainsaw on those big trees they may have changed that for the full release. as for the bunny itself ive only seen it drop when using the axes themselves and thats what everyone has told me so far. i could be wrong though let me know if thats not the case

@@turbompson4546 takes time for the water to ramp up. ur also gunna need multiple pumps. i had 4 going into one pruifier and then ended up making a second smaller purifier to pump to my 5th crop section cuz i started noticing a bottleneck for water cuz the large purifier can only hold 4 water at atime
Any axe works for the bunny.. my friend just started playing and I showed her a tree I I've been farming for a week to try and get it. First swing of her copper axe gave her a bunny lol

yup! the pumps i put on land do my oil, and the ones i stuck in the stream behind the base pull dirty water :) gotta have the base right along the water for you to be able to get both though.
amazing video and really helped a lot when i started farming but at 17:43 the water pumps are below and leads up and later in the video you said gravity effects it, so how did you manage to make the flow go up?

@@psychxx7146 no I def said two hours because I was tired and not thinking lol. The buffs lasted longer for several potions in beta but almost all were reduced in final releases was always used to saying 2 hours for buff but they r mostly 30 mins now lol

The pipe from my water pumps in the lake are running down, I cannot for the life of me get them to run up, even though all the other pipes are running in the correct direction
@@kaihinataplays6374 they work off gravity if ur going from the ground up to something u have to connect them to a water valve in between and hook the valve up to power to force it to go in the right direction

@@chumrocket I used the back wall beams as a guide the center top row planter goes down first and I align it right in middle of each center wall beam. Then from there I slowly shift left or right till it just barely turns green and im able to pjs e the next one
i have a question about the mushroom cave and the deviant i went in farmed about 30 got my first 1 that was the lowest level so i was trying my luck to get a better level....... i farmed 300 mushrooms since and haven't gotten another can they only drop once?
@@CoBrA-KSR Dunno if just like when farming the beaver and other deviants there’s a timer after you catch one. Maybe try waiting a little after you’ve caught one before continuing on farming the mushrooms
For some reason my grow-shroom harvested all 8 of my plots, re-seeded all of them and yet I didn't get anything from what he harvested? Its not even inside his securement unit either. Any clue why?
You need to plant the crop manually using the fertiliser for deviating it, the shroom will pick anything in your growplots and any deviated produce will be waiting in its container.
You can plant, or find it, both work. Getting deviated is RNG in both case. Use the correct fertilizer that increases the chances of getting a deviated crop
@@Sanotsuke I mean literally everything decays u can teleport to any town and they have gardens u can steal stacks of veggies and stuff from then just chuck them into a crate so the spoil faster

Hi nice farm layout, and I experimented with the height of lights, you can have usable light 2 floors up. I have my farm running a 5x6 layout with the corners cut, and the vertical 2 in the centre removed for the 1 irrigator that covers them all, and 1 rectangular growlight that covers them all 2 floors up (this was fiddly AF, to get in place but it worked as a "I wonder if I can?" challenge). rotate the light to match your floor boxes ASCI ART version, Sprinkler dead centre, and same for light 2 floors up. covers 24 squares +---+---+---+ | | | | +---+---+---+---+---+ | | | | | | +---+---+---+---+---+ | | | | | | +---+---+ S +---+---+ | | | | | | +---+---+---+---+---+ | | | | | | +---+---+---+---+---+ | | | | +---+---+---+

Why is there not a single video anywhere on starting farming... This one as well as every other video on farming only covers after you have basically unlocked every tier of everything. Shouldn't you first say that first thing you should do Is basically get to endgame set up then you can use this farming guide...... Any chance to get a video on starting farming and not just straight to endgame farming?
@@SourNibblits the reason everyone does late game farms is because farms r only good and worth making if they can be automated if u can’t automate them I wouldn’t bother building one. There way more important things u should be focusing on early and mid game
He did mention early game farm info, loamy soil, a rain man, buzzy bee and grow mushroom will automate even a low level basic farm, and are very easy to get early on. In reality this game starts at max level. It requires a lot of supplies lol

Theres no need to use half floors, you can still fit 44 planter boxes per sprinkler. 6x6 grid around the sprinkler with 2 extra on each side.

It requires a bit more attention because you have to add the water yourself. Make sure you only use boiled/pure water.

@@turbompson4546 takes time for the water to ramp up. ur also gunna need multiple pumps. i had 4 going into one pruifier and then ended up making a second smaller purifier to pump to my 5th crop section cuz i started noticing a bottleneck for water cuz the large purifier can only hold 4 water at atime
Any axe works for the bunny.. my friend just started playing and I showed her a tree I I've been farming for a week to try and get it. First swing of her copper axe gave her a bunny lol

yup! the pumps i put on land do my oil, and the ones i stuck in the stream behind the base pull dirty water :) gotta have the base right along the water for you to be able to get both though.

amazing video and really helped a lot when i started farming but at 17:43 the water pumps are below and leads up and later in the video you said gravity effects it, so how did you manage to make the flow go up?
Runs it into a wall mounted water pump that can pull water up when powered

@@psychxx7146 no I def said two hours because I was tired and not thinking lol. The buffs lasted longer for several potions in beta but almost all were reduced in final releases was always used to saying 2 hours for buff but they r mostly 30 mins now lol

The pipe from my water pumps in the lake are running down, I cannot for the life of me get them to run up, even though all the other pipes are running in the correct direction
@@kaihinataplays6374 they work off gravity if ur going from the ground up to something u have to connect them to a water valve in between and hook the valve up to power to force it to go in the right direction
how did u connect the arch at the top it wont allow me to connect them

my only problem is aligning the planter box together its so hard everytime i do it its crooked
@@chumrocket I used the back wall beams as a guide the center top row planter goes down first and I align it right in middle of each center wall beam. Then from there I slowly shift left or right till it just barely turns green and im able to pjs e the next one

i have a question about the mushroom cave and the deviant i went in farmed about 30 got my first 1 that was the lowest level so i was trying my luck to get a better level....... i farmed 300 mushrooms since and haven't gotten another can they only drop once?

For some reason my grow-shroom harvested all 8 of my plots, re-seeded all of them and yet I didn't get anything from what he harvested? Its not even inside his securement unit either. Any clue why?

yes! you pick them up with everything else in the container
Yes, but growshrooms will not use fertalizer/compost.
You can only tell it what seeds to use.
You need to plant the crop manually using the fertiliser for deviating it, the shroom will pick anything in your growplots and any deviated produce will be waiting in its container.

You can plant, or find it, both work. Getting deviated is RNG in both case. Use the correct fertilizer that increases the chances of getting a deviated crop

Hi nice farm layout, and I experimented with the height of lights, you can have usable light 2 floors up.
I have my farm running a 5x6 layout with the corners cut, and the vertical 2 in the centre removed for the 1 irrigator that covers them all, and 1 rectangular growlight that covers them all 2 floors up (this was fiddly AF, to get in place but it worked as a "I wonder if I can?" challenge). rotate the light to match your floor boxes

@@Glitchiz I kind of made It work I made the top floor like the deviant room with cubbies instead and made the farms 3x3 instead of 5x3 giving me 45 farms I hope that's enough 🤣. Also making the roof is tough I have like 0 creative ideas of my own so taking inspiration from people online is all I can do. Thanks for these videos it's helped a lot.

Why is there not a single video anywhere on starting farming... This one as well as every other video on farming only covers after you have basically unlocked every tier of everything. Shouldn't you first say that first thing you should do Is basically get to endgame set up then you can use this farming guide...... Any chance to get a video on starting farming and not just straight to endgame farming?
@@SourNibblits the reason everyone does late game farms is because farms r only good and worth making if they can be automated if u can’t automate them I wouldn’t bother building one. There way more important things u should be focusing on early and mid game
He did mention early game farm info, loamy soil, a rain man, buzzy bee and grow mushroom will automate even a low level basic farm, and are very easy to get early on. In reality this game starts at max level. It requires a lot of supplies lol
