Liberation Transmission is a fucking ace albumn that caught the attention of people who wouldn't necessarily listen to their older stuff and has brought them more fans and more recognition and appreciation which they fully deserve.

There new album that's coming out soon is full of dark and nasty stuff Ian says, so i think they're gonna be bringing back the old style man! Can't wait!

1. They're trying not to blow out the speakers. 2. Percussion instruments produce a lot of sound. When a song is recorded in a studio, the drums are usually filtered or softened.

omg i cant believe the number of people who are thick enough to say this, they are never gonna sound exactly the same live as on the album, because they only got one chance live, album probably took 30 times to perfect. and its a performance not just sound, its about the atmosphere they create!
Um, yes it is. It far surpasses all of those songs. Everyday Combat not only has an amazingly catchy chorus, even moreso than most LPs songs but the musicianship is way better than any of the songs you mentioned and the solo is fucking crazy. The songs you mentioned are great but they just don't compare, and I have a feeling that if EC was on Start Something or Fake Sound you'd agree, but you're just biased because it's on LT.
same everyone says theyre shit now theyre moving on to the new styles of rock such as most bands. Think back to bout 5 - 10 years ago Metal/ scream rock was the most common type of rock now Rocky/pop is in. but i like them either way. you cant say LP were my fav band but i hate them now obliously you didnt like them as much as you though otherwise you would still believe and like them

Maybe it was me, but it's probably because it sounds like you can hear the drums over the guitar and even Ian's voice. But this crowd is kinda lame. Whatever band is playing, esp a great band like Lostprophets, the crowd needs to put up the energy. You go to a freakin' concert to enjoy and bask in the music, not to be lame-o's.
