After seeing Winter play an electric guitar in Girls for their recent concert it gave me the itch for aespa/metal remix and this fits the bill! You did an amazing job!
Came here from Djent Shitposting. Outta nowhere saw this and was both surprised & satisfied. As a Kpop lover I like Aespa a lot and as a Metalhead this shit bangs. I'm sharing the link on the group and with everyone. 💥
Holy sh*t, this is awesome. The girly pop-singing contrast perfectly with the brutal but groovy guitar tunes. I need a dedicated band that sounds exactly like this in my life now. Kinda reminds me of how the British band Hacktivist started out: a rapper started recording vocals over djent guitar demo's and later ended up forming a band around it. All you need are some capable girls with cute singing voices and a couple of like-minded musicians and you'd have formed one of my new favorite bands haha. 🤘 But anyway, excellent work!

When I listen to other covers (I mostly listen to covers on aespa) I always imagine how it would sound like with some Deathcore (sometimes Metalcore) male vocals. And I wish there were some covers with such vocals. But this one is perfect as it is. And it feels like changing the vocals will only make it somewhat worse. P.S.: Deathcore is one of my favorite genres for 12 years, and I also can't stop listening to aespa's songs for 3 months already (since the first time I heard "Armageddon").
is it possible to make the vocals a bit louder on this and the blackpink ones and re upload? at least on soundcloud? these are the best metal ver ive seen so far

Much better than Babymetal by design, IMO. Also I loved how it feels so natural since with some covers like this you can tell that it is two different things pierced together.
@@CoryThunderlick What you could do us use a software to separate the vocals from the sound. There might be a small bit of background noise but shouldn't be noticeable if at all when you do the instrumental.

I know there’s a good chance that you won’t do it, but I’d love it if you would at least consider the possibity, because you’re one of my top fave TH-cam guitarists, and I absolutely believe that you could do this one proper justice with your musical vision and creativity! 🙂 I figure, maybe the song could be sped up just a tad bit, and then it’d be pretty much perfect and go together with covers you’ve done before.
