I think aespa have a very distinct music taste. Excluding songs like Life's too short and Forever, they have this really futuristuc vibe kind of like a video game. There's always that change of beat you're not expecting and random high notes at the end making it sound noisy so some people don't like it. I was also confused when I heard Next Level but I love all their songs now. It's extremely 4th gen and I love their concepts. Amazing group if you can appreciate something different

The choreography and dance break could've been more challenging but the song is dope and the MV might just be one of my favorites of all k-pop. Other girl groups came back with a summer concept but AESPA came back with a badass song and I LOVE IT

This song was definitely more grounded compared to previous, but was still very aespa! Which of course they have their own concept/lore they’ve been following… and I’m glad it hasn’t gotten old! They somehow keep it fresh and interesting
Continuing with their concept, the hip hop genre is awesome and fresh but their vocals make it THAT much better. You don’t see a group this poppy with all powerful vocals. They sound like real vocalists compared to some who are thrown into group just to be in it. So glad this ensemble was put together, keep going ladies! Your efforts are recognized!

You could argue about their track record, but it's clear that aespa lacks the ability to sustain SM's popularity like the era of SNSD.
