These do end up being the economic way to army build these days! As long as you can buy them direct for a fair price, instead of the folks who try to pass these off as "official Hasbro" figures, I don't see a problem with it!
@@Halo-motion the joints aren't that bad, just be very careful when moving the joints. (I don't recommend moving the foot joints) but other than that you can pose em, army build em, and display them pretty well
Considering how rare the original versions of these particular clones are, I can see why they would be a popular candidate for the bootleg market. Heck, I'd love to see some rare Clone Wars molds get the bootleg treatment; especially the ARC Trooper mold! 😀
Summary: Kamino (hasbro) clones vs spaarti (knockoff) clones. Kamino clones are expensive and takes 10 years to grow, but are excellent fighters. Spaarti clones can be grown in a year or less, meaning they can be mass produced, but are inferior to their kamino counterparts in combat (figure quality). Hasbro clones these days are not that common and expensive, while the knockoffs are far more accessible and cheaper. Note: I have ordered some of these and I'm satisfied with them. For collectors out there who want the legit stuff, don't buy these. For people like me who want to increase their numbers, this might be the figures you're looking for.
Honestly for $30 for 5 troopers, even decent official knock offs, I'll troop build them.. also yes they did make shock troopers, 501st, utapau, shadow, etc.. probably a couple sellers on ebay have them now. I'll troop build with a few of these.
Just ordered 5x Utapau Clone Troopers for £24/$30 whilst i would prefer to buy hasbro made figures its just not possible. Clones are ridiculously expensive in UK. At under £5 for a figure its a great deal especially as there is a great selection of rare clones making it perfect for army building something that is just not financially viable today especially as VC figures cost £13.99 plus postage because retail stock nothing. All i can hope is that the figures don't fall apart if so i will definitely order more!

That is really cool! I have never seen any other versions besides these in the U. S., but I would love to see more! Finding bootlegs here is very difficult, usually I just look on eBay or Aliexpress, but options are limited.

The ARC trooper and BFII trooper sound really cool! The Clone Pilot is one that I see often! I have also seen a version of the pilot that they scaled up to make it a 7" action figure! I think my favorite bootleg that I own is the scaled up Commander Cody that has a red light in his chest!

Oh nice an update on this mystery. I ordered a 5th fleet security clone and that will be my first clone action figure. I didn’t order it from China and it comes with the original stand for the figure.
Rustbelt Collector the bootleg clones are direct ripoffs of the legitimate thing. I’d also seen these on eBay, I’d also seen the tunghouri figure for sale as well I checked and it is the seller so I do have the chance of purchasing a legit 91st.
zach duperron I think anyone selling these figures other than Tunghori is selling the knockoff. He does still have his listed, so I’d buy a couple from him if you want the figure! A good way to spot the bootleg is the markings on the chest: like I pointed out in the video, the Tungori(Hasbro) one has a bit of “battle damaged” on the chest marking, the China bootleg does not have the damage.
This is different than the Target Exclusive. It does have the same paint apps, but the mold is the antennae mold, while the Target exclusive was a different mold. I made a more in-depth look at that particular figure on my channel. Also, Jcc2224 has a video on the same figure. We both bought it off of eBay from the same seller and it is confirmed to be different (slightly) from the Target version :) If you want, send a pic via instagram and I can double check.
True, they aren't made anymore. But the originals can still be found pretty readily on eBay for only a few dollars more. I prefer hasbro over these based on the quality as well. These have a lot of issues and do not match a hasbro-made figure.

@@RustbeltCollector well if I'm honest with you I dont mind bootlegs/knockoffs some are super good and I have a few in my collection and I know a lot of people who also buy bootlegs, for hasbro figures I have my own little rule where I only buy the real deal figure when it comes to the 6 inch not the 3.74, but for sh figuarts, bandai ect ect. I only buy the knockoffs

I recently ordered a pack of 10 storm troopers that are KOs. I honestly don't mind. They are decent enough for canon fodder especially for my planned diorama of them attacking a xeno hive (hiya figures).

I ordered from him multiple times. Currently, due to the pandemic, I ordered the Black Series 3.75 Rex back in April, and it arrived last week. All his figures are most likely factory overruns, or rejects. Don’t expect a perfect figure though. I bought a battle droid once from him, missing eye applications. Other than that, his figures are good most of the time.
Hey bro i think dont quote me but i have some of these and looking at them i think they used 2 different molds to make them the quick draw and the super articulated. I do customes and i had some quick draw clones there head flairs on a super articulated the ball joint is not the same as to the shoulders are different wideer to allow for the fiture. And the abdomen is wired also you have a seperation from cod piece to back piece. Just what i have found looking them over. Great video love the Chanel!!!
So is there a market for knock-off relatively Clone and Stormtroopers? I see lots of 5 3.75" Stormtroopers with some pretty mediocre paintwork on eBay and if their joints are gonna hold their integrity, then I'd be perfectly willing to pick some up.

Do you think these clones are a good option to use them for the scenes? I'm scared about the plastic quality you mentioned. Very good video by the way😁
I’d say they will hold up the almost as good as hasbro. Just be gentle with the joints, I’m not sure if they will be as strong. Long term, who knows if they will stay good or not though.

They are not good quality, but I would not call them bad quality either. They are better than other bootlegs featured on this channel, but ultimately can't compare to the official Hasbro versions.
Really wish I could get some clothes just got into concocting and all the claims her at least $20 on eBay only way I can get lenses that fleamarket there’s one person that sells them for like five bucks if they have any Star Wars figures.

Its true. Hasbro made clones can sometimes go up to 100 dollars here in the us. Which makes these bootlegs fairgame

I agree! It is strange that they decide to make these 15 years after they first came out. But, clones are clones and people still love them!
There’s hardly any supply and lots of demand so it’s evident that there is a reason they still make these.

They have evolved, they are doing 187th, 212th 442nd 41st grey and shock troopers
Be on the look out for a review on those too! I picked up one of each to compare and just warn collectors, since many would not like to buy bootlegs.
