I think if you want panels for a UCS Death Star, they should make the panels something like the ATAT where you can take it off and attach it back on relatively easily. That’s what I think should be done if you want to include scenes from the movies.

BUT not worth 400$. On the other hand Mouldking made some pretty nice sets, working together with moc designers and actually giving them part of the income the set generates. I would love a lego set where it is a purely display set, of the DS, but with a removable panel that would transform it into the DS2. If there is any other differences other than the non completion, you could include dual option mini builds such as the sequels antenna on the UCS Falcon.
10:08 I guess this room is supposed to be the command room since that thing you think is Vader's meditation chamber is a command post also seen in the Death Star's command room. Lego would do better than the panels with large gaps? You do have every play scale Millennium Falcon before the current version...right? It would probably be better if they had removable panels instead of the ones that fold down. Now, regarding Mould King, copyright issues aside, their sets are usually pretty good. They use "gobricks" brand bricks that are actually really good quality "knock off" bricks.
