    More people should spread these videos. The more these videos go viral the more the orthodontic industry has to at least pay attention to a different demand.

      More likely the mainstream will try to ban and attack it and call it fake science and quackery and the stuff they normally do to anything that helps people and threatens their income.

    Dr. Mew, please set up a PayPal donation system so we can support you! You need to grow a larger public and be given a voice. You're revolutionary. I'm looking forward to see you on Tedtalk and Joe Rogan. Dentists and orthodontists can't just keep messing with everyone's face and health forever.

    I'm lucky to have found Dr Bronson and not live too far away. This process cured my sleep disorder, acid reflux, teeth grinding, face pain, posture, chewing technique... It's insane the results I've gotten. I used it 3 years so far, working with his son Dr. Alex who is extremely nice. The biggest shift was working with Kathy Winslow, the oromyofunctional therapist he recommends, to start mouth taping. Buteyko breathing was great too. Those are both cheap options, though not recommended for everyone i guess so get a consult from Kathy. The Alf helped widen my smile, which is a little more beautiful. :) The hard part for me has been forward motion, but he changed the alf to be able to be pulled forward by rubber bands and that seems to be helping. I might get SFOT surgery if this doesnt work bc after getting dry needling and physical therapy, i think my palate needs more bone to dramatically move forward and meet where my relaxed bottom jaw wants to hang. I feel good but i know i could feel better. But ill try the alf another while - it can keep working until you're 80!

    I feel like after learning where my tongue should rest, it’s now become accustomed to staying there most of the time, after perhaps about a month or two of trying.
    When it is there, I feel as though I am able to feel the ‘old structure’ as you put it, and my tongue is pushing up against it.
    For the first month or two I was unsure as to whether I was doing things properly or not, but now I feel, after some persistence, and double checking I’m doing things correctly, I’m making a bit of headway.
    Thanks Mike. Keep up the great work.
    One question I have is, if somebody has an underbite, where should they keep their mandible in order to achieve growth? Bite at the back, or the front?
    I guess the back?

    • @amen7692
      @amen7692 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Sariine436 Mike Mew said in one of his videos that he woud not recommend implants and he would focus on mewing + posture to move maxilla up and forwards. After some time watching videos, reading, researching, i think these are most important things : Whole tongue should push against palate, especially root of the tongue, if you say "G" root of your tongue should be touching soft palate, keep it there (all the time). Keep your teeth together, but don't grind or push hard. Also if your upper jaw isnt wide enough, try to open your mouth in front of mirror and see if your tongue is touching bottom of your upper teeth, if it is, try not to, because it should not. Start doing chin tuck exercise + get your neck and back posture right if it's not because it's also very important. If your neck and spine isn't fixed + your overall body posture you might develop face asymmetry or worsen it if you have one. Swallow with your tongue - food, water, saliva, everything only with tongue, don't use cheeks. John mew said it's more important to move jaws up and forward than to increase intermolar widtht, but for some people with too narrow jaws it's probably necessary. I dont know if tongue could increase intermolar width in adults, but Astro Sky uploaded video on thumb pulling. For anyone who want to increase intermolar width I'd recommend do all I mentioned above for a year. If it doesnt't work try thumb pulling, if still nothing, go for palate expander, this will work 100%.

      @@rowda6968 Totally get you Rowda. For the past two years I`ve just been mewing without overthinking if I should use implants or not.
      The results regarding teeth position is that the gap is kinda closed and my lower mandible is recently starting to expand noticeably.
      I only had the lower premolars extracted, so my case is not exactly like yours. My recoomendation would be for you to concentrate on how to mew properly without your premolars and be able to expand the upper jaw, eventually with some years your lower mandible will catch up if done properly I think. That`s what is slowly happening to me. I don`t even think about implants anymore, cause I`m still having results, I don`t want to mess up.

    After doing this mewing thing my jaw has shifted. It's always shifted to the left causing assymatry in my face. Now it's gone to the right and for their first time the teeth on my right side (upper and lower) are touching. Only thing is that I can't open my mouth as wide now but maybe that will change?

I have seen cases in the 'Malocclusion and Cranial Strains' case report papers that featured correction of various asymmetries and were very interesting. I would love to know your opinion.

    Maybe start with explaining what it is you are talking about before getting into the details. This guy on the right states claiming unproven neurological change the makes you breath from the nose. Claiming something you cannot explain as your first thing to say is very, very weak. Pushing on the teeth does nothing to change the bone for any adult. The money they charge and all the law suits … scam.
